Same title as Dolly's new single? Hmph. They should've picked something different. The disrespect to the queen of country is real. 😩🚮

Correct choice. This is a smash. The album was a little too long, but it was enjoyable overall, and I really like this guy. This song has such a great energy and I can see it doing well for him.

Love this song, and it had a viral moment on tiktok, but I wanted wreckage to be the next single

I think this guy is going to have longevity and I think it was smart for them to follow up with this as I think Wreckage is another smash that will set him nicely with 3 consecutive hits if all works out. He streams nicely too so his singles are looking to be higher impacting singles.
Interested to see what kind of crowd he’s pulling touring wise.

"Everything I Love" will be the #1 on Mediabase this upcoming week, and really shouldn't even be that close by Sunday. Nate's single though is definitely a big radio hit and it's streaming well too. George Birge's push starts the 22nd, followed by Dan + Shay, then Nate. The Billboard number one tomorrow should be very close though, between Nate and Jelly/Lainey. Nate should be a multi-week number one on Billboard Country Airplay, with perhaps just one week at number one on Mediabase, but could be two weeks, depending on what happens on the 24th (Christmas Eve), which is basically the true lay-low week for labels and radio.

According to Nate's website, it looks like his next single is going to be "Chasing Cars" which is a remake of Snow Patrol's pop hit.

Nate spends his 4th week at #1 on BB. I think Nate will get 6 weeks before Chris Stapleton gets there.

Surprised that this has gotten as long at #1 as it has. I definitely understand what happens with Billboard in December/January but this seems over the top even for that. I think that timing has worked out well for this song.

5 weeks at #1 for this is so wild. It definitely benefitted from the time of year that it hit the top, but it's a shame it had to happen for something like this that's just so meh, lol.

Eh, this song has been a pretty decent sized hit as it has made it all the way to #25 on the Hot 100, so I don't mind this getting so many weeks at #1. Reminds me of a couple years ago with "Thinking Bout You" as this should have a long radio longevity and got good timing to hit #1.

While I think the song is mid personally, even if I put that aside, I wouldn't say there's anything about this song that screams 5-week #1 about its success. It would've maybe gotten 2 weeks any other time of the year, but I doubt it would've had more than that. Like, this has now spent the same # of weeks at the top as "Fast Car" by Luke Combs which peaked at #2 on the Hot 100 and was one of the biggest crossover smashes of the year so I'm not sure a #25 peak is something that indicates this kind of run at #1. Purely a timing thing here.

Purely a timing thing here. I mean it got good timing, I'm not denying that. Usually the Christmas time helps extend a few weeks to a song that probably would have gotten less, but this isn't the worse song to have that honor. I am also not gonna be opposed to more multi week #1s especially if they are songs that both radio and consumers like. Does this song deserve all 5 weeks at #1 under normal circumstances, probably not. But I am glad this got those weeks at #1 on Billboard than having the rotational #1 BS with the singles by Dan + Shay, Luke Bryan, and especially George Birge. I do wish however that Broken Bow would have held on to "Save Me" a little bit longer as that would have been a bit better of a fit for all these weeks at #1. But eh. No big deal either way.

Still surprised it's this song that benefited from "Christmas freeze" instead of Save Me because Jelly Roll/Lainey Wilson is more popular than Nate Smith even though I like this song better than Save Me.
What's his possible next single? Wreckage which made Hot Country Songs year-end despite not being a radio single?

I'm not sure why this is turning into such a debate, lol. This has been a success, but definitely not on the level of a 5-week #1 outside of it peaking during the Xmas "freeze." I don't think any of the other songs that took some of its weeks at #1 on MB deserved to dethrone it by any means, but I'm surprised this song is the beneficiary of such a long stay at the top. I also think that it's just a mid song and the fact that it's not even on a second page of this thread after a 5-week stay at the top seems to indicate I'm not the only one that thinks this song is meh/forgettable. I agree "Save Me" would've made way more sense to be the long-lasting Xmas #1 out of the options that were peaking around this time.

It's amazing to me this got to number one since neither station here played it at all until the last 6 weeks. Even when he played the secret show here it wasn't in the top 40 of K102's playlist. I didn't even realize it was top then at that point until I looked for it on the chart.

part of this song reminds me of a Nickleback song which i don't think is a good thing . Country and Rock have some of the same audience. Need A Favor could be another example.

This and "Whiskey On You" are both A+ songs in my book. Loving the success he's had because it's rare for male country artists to put out any music I enjoy. Looking forward to hearing what's next from him - I need to check out the rest of his album.
