My mutual friend suggested Sam could do what Demi Lovato/Halsey did adding back the He/His pronouns but keep They/Them pronouns, which is absolutely ridiculous because Sam has been non binary for 4 years now, the backtracking would definitely piss more people tbh Your mutual friend seems to misunderstand gender identity - unless they believe celebrities change theirs for image purposes (which is certainly possible). |

it's one thing to make an honest mistake (even though they've openly been a they/them for almost four years now) but misgendering them while saying that their new image turned off a large portion of the public (which is objectively not true since their career was in dire straights pre unholy and that ended up being a bigger hit then ANYTHING they released in their "tasteful era" with the possible exception of stay with me) and the only way for them to possibly get another hit is for them to go back to making tasteful piano ballads catered to straigjt people is a bad bad look my friend The problem is many people see what Sam is doing with his gender as just a stunt to be trendy. ,,,, and those many people are being disingenuous (or at minimum not making an effort to learn) considering sam has been out for almost four years now, seems way happier with themselves then they were pre coming out, AND used to present much more similarly to how they do now pre fame. frankly as a non binary person i'm. kind of insulted some of y'all seem to be so fixated on the fact that sam killed their career by being their authentic self despite the fact that it not only again, produced the biggest hit of their career, but is clearly what makes them happy (which is WAY more important then any hits at the end of the day) |

Vulgar has received 6 spins so far at SiriusXM Hits 1 - will be super interesting to see how it performs there and if other stations will start to give it a shot.

must have been on a syndicated show yesterday, since there are 14 stations with 1 spin each (by subtracting the 5 showing on Taking Off from the 19 on Spincrease)
And.. possible adds from these 4 stations who all gave it 2-3 spins yesterday..? This could be happening..

If a few more stations pick this up, it could break Top 50 on Pop. Tonight's adds will be the thing to watch. If there are no new adds, it means the stations who gave this 2-3 spins are just ones who happen to re-air whatever that syndicated show is, later in the day or overnight Sunday 1-2 times. Then we'd have to count on that syndicated show re-playing it this weekend to continue the hype. (or another syndicated show playing it) But even if we see a small handful of adds tonight, like 3 or 4, then I think this could easily make top 50 by this time next week. |
