I’m positive AT least 2 songs are leaping over Last Night from SNTV. Especially if anything gets a MV, it’s over lol. But realistically Olivia is debuting at 1 with negative effort.

It's got a ~100 point lead over Fast Car. While Fast Car is growing at a decent clip (~9%), it would take Last Night to fall by ~9% to be surpassed by it. Which isn't impossible, but seems unlikely given Last Night's stability so far.

Here's why even Fast Car will have trouble competing with Last Night. Last Night has really good streaming which is barely declining. That's super rare for a song in its 5th month.

This compares the 2 songs on radio and streaming (the axes are scaled to the relative point impact, i.e. 10M streams is about equivalent to 54M Radio AI). Fast Car just has no hope of competing unless Morgan's streaming starts to seriously drop off.

Basically, most of Fast Car listeners are Last Night listeners, but not vice versa.

But things can still happen if Luke Combs' team really goes for it, but it certainly won't happen this month but rather next month if it happens at all, so here comes the totally hypothetical scenarios:
1) The performance is included in CMA Fest special, which will air on July 19th (he did perform it, but it's not sure whether the performance will air because they only air parts of the performance set, although it will be very stupid for them to not do so)
2) Tracy Chapman publicly acknowledged the cover and maybe gives approval (which I am surprised hasn't happened yet, even Kate Bush who is not known for public statements did when RUTH went viral)
3) A viral music video, preferably with Tracy's cameo
4) Discount in downloads, webstore singles, etc.
5) A remix with Tracy (which I think is the least possible scenario, but will be the most effective one)

That feels like a stretch, but if Taylor pushes hard enough or the numbers are there that could happen, likely with a combination of Enchanted then either Castles Crumbling or Electric Touch.

Good debut for Doja on spotify - I'm hoping the song will be one which grows and has good longevity.

I think we could see the #1 something along the lines of:

"Last Night"
"Vampire"
"Enchanted (Taylor's version)" (1 week)
"Vampire"
"Cruel Summer" (Airplay built nicely, music video release gives it push needed to get to #1)

Of course that's depending on how good "Vampire" is. But with Olivia releasing CD/Vinyls for it, I have a hard time believing it won't go to #1 for at least a week.
