Is it just me or these Vault tracks end up being kinda disappointing every time? Lol.
I think the prospect of hearing some brand new songs from these eras always is the most interesting part, but then I listen to them and I'm like... yeah these are filler and I see exactly why they didn't make the tracklist the first go. I've yet to hear any Vault tracks that sound like hits or songs I would rank as highlights in her discography. Maybe the 1989 or Rep TVs will change that. (Also not counting ATW10MV as a new Vault track in the same manner, since the original was always available) Not when the Red vault tracks are all 10/10's. Midnights did it an hour earlier, but I don't see the corresponding tweets for Fearless (TV) or Red (TV) so I guess they might not have reached #1? |

I expect Taylor to premiere a music video at her show tonight (and maybe a second one next week) but yeah, I don't see any songs going #1. I thought she'd be pushing Enchanted harder.

It's smart to not do a big ATW10MV style push. With all the Taylor activity on the charts, it would probably underperform the high bar set by ATW... and we know Taylor doesn't like the optics of that. Enchanted already had its big viral moment 2 years ago, that would've been the time to release the Taylor's Version.

I said this in the other thread, but I think it's not 500k from vinyl alone. Remember - Midnights did 500k vinyl with 5 variants and the whole clock gimmick, which this doesn't have. We'll see but I think it'll be about half of Midnights. |

We'll see what Taylor has planned for the rest of the week but I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being chill about this release. There was a huge hype leading up to All Too Well 10 Min that of course she was going to make it a big event. It was a special case and I don't think she's gonna continue it with every re-record. But again I'll be happy to be stood corrected
