i was thinking the early 90's were not represented well with End Of The Road not listed and I Will Always Love You so low. but this does not makes sense.

I used the point system and formula that CURRENTLY matches the one billboard uses for the GOAT which is their nw one If you notice on the GOAT/new formula Hanging By A Moment is #1 whereas on here Apologize is #1. Also, Krptyonite is ranked much higher than the one here. For reference here is the formula and listing BB CURRENTLY uses www.billboard.com/charts/greatest-of-all-time-pop-songs/Edit: With Arms Wide Open it is extremely Low...this is the same thing with BB's R&B 2000s decade end...they changed their formula so the above mentioned is the old one

The early 90s werent represented well idk know why BB chose those multipliers and I will say EOTR was already on its way out when this chart was introduced so it had a disadvantage.

These lists are awesome! I've been following this chart since 2017 (before the current all-time list was revealed). It's extremely impressive that you managed to crack the formula within a week given that each year has different multipliers (1992 with the highest and 1998 with the lowest I believe). On the other hand, I've attempted to crack the formula (first attempt in 2019) but haven't succeeded yet, mainly because all of the different multipliers and turnover rates (this is what makes cracking this formula significantly harder than the Hot 100, for me).

i was thinking the early 90's were not represented well with End Of The Road not listed and I Will Always Love You so low. but this does not makes sense. 14 How Do You Talk To An Angel The Heights 1,083,000 84 I Will Always Love You Whitney Houston 809,000 I agree. The early 90s werent represented well idk know why BB chose those multipliers and I will say EOTR was already on its way out when this chart was introduced so it had a disadvantage.
Yep, the Mainstream Top 40 chart debuted Oct. 3, 1992, where EOTR began at #1, in the middle of it's run at top 40, and thus why no other songs before this time would appear on this list (Mariah's Vision of Love and Emotions, Janet's songs from Rhythm Nation, etc.)

2010s Pop songs decade end This was a tough one because after 2017...I had no idea what multiplier to use. I used the GOAT to help me compile these lists. So for 2018-2019 I used an experimental multiplier. I'm not going to know what to use until BB comes out with the updated GOAT list. Also, there may be a small margin of error for points. With the multipliers, you can be close to the EXACT number and still be off. This is an estimate of the 2010s decade end: 1 | Closer | The Chainsmokers Featuring Halsey | 1,325,870 | 2 | One More Night | Maroon 5 | 1,323,520 | 3 | Wake Me Up! | Avicii | 1,307,760 | 4 | Counting Stars | OneRepublic | 1,279,910 | 5 | We Found Love | Rihanna Featuring Calvin Harris | 1,272,440 | 6 | Locked Out Of Heaven | Bruno Mars | 1,251,600 | 7 | Uptown Funk! | Mark Ronson Featuring Bruno Mars | 1,249,400 | 8 | TiK ToK | Ke$ha | 1,239,924 | 9 | Dark Horse | Katy Perry Featuring Juicy J | 1,204,606 | 10 | Shape Of You | Ed Sheeran | 1,155,904 | 11 | Love Lies | Khalid & Normani | 1,155,464 | 12 | Moves Like Jagger | Maroon 5 Featuring Christina Aguilera | 1,155,264 | 13 | Party Rock Anthem | LMFAO Featuring Lauren Bennett & GoonRock | 1,151,221 | 14 | Blurred Lines | Robin Thicke Featuring T.I. + Pharrell | 1,138,700 | 15 | Just The Way You Are | Bruno Mars | 1,136,256 | 16 | Lights | Ellie Goulding | 1,116,030 | 17 | Without Me | Halsey | 1,114,101 | 18 | I Knew You Were Trouble. | Taylor Swift | 1,092,080 | 19 | New Rules | Dua Lipa | 1,085,835 | 20 | Eastside | benny blanco, Halsey & Khalid | 1,085,220 | 21 | Dynamite | Taio Cruz | 1,073,728 | 22 | Stereo Hearts | Gym Class Heroes Featuring Adam Levine | 1,067,920 | 23 | Girls Like You | Maroon 5 Featuring Cardi B | 1,064,178 | 24 | Cheap Thrills | Sia Featuring Sean Paul | 1,059,950 | 25 | DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love | Usher Featuring Pitbull | 1,054,300 | 26 | Good Feeling | Flo Rida | 1,052,200 | 27 | Love Yourself | Justin Bieber | 1,049,300 | 28 | Just A Dream | Nelly | 1,037,184 | 29 | Give Me Everything | Pitbull Featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer | 1,027,740 | 30 | Bad Romance | Lady Gaga | 1,027,457 | 31 | Don't Let Me Down | The Chainsmokers Featuring Daya | 1,009,879 | 32 | Stitches | Shawn Mendes | 1,002,524 | 33 | Shut Up And Dance | WALK THE MOON | 1,002,500 | 34 | Blank Space | Taylor Swift | 996,120 | 35 | All Of Me | John Legend | 954,096 | 36 | Youngblood | 5 Seconds Of Summer | 952,145 | 37 | Better Now | Post Malone | 945,716 | 38 | Talk Dirty | Jason Derulo Featuring 2 Chainz | 944,387 | 39 | Airplanes | B.o.B Featuring Hayley Williams | 943,014 | 40 | In My Head | Jason Derulo | 936,480 | 41 | Sucker | Jonas Brothers | 931,551 | 42 | Can't Hold Us | Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Featuring Ray Dalton | 917,803 | 43 | Don't You Worry Child | Swedish House Mafia Featuring John Martin | 914,587 | 44 | Can't Feel My Face | The Weeknd | 912,780 | 45 | Glad You Came | The Wanted | 912,563 | 46 | That's What I Like | Bruno Mars | 911,387 | 47 | Am I Wrong | Nico & Vinz | 906,322 | 48 | Perfect | Ed Sheeran | 906,212 | 49 | Payphone | Maroon 5 Featuring Wiz Khalifa | 900,362 | 50 | Shake It Off | Taylor Swift | 894,263 | 51 | Without You | David Guetta Featuring Usher | 892,705 | 52 | Timber | Pitbull Featuring Ke$ha | 890,014 | 53 | Stay | Zedd & Alessia Cara | 885,662 | 54 | Sexy And I Know It | LMFAO | 882,335 | 55 | E.T. | Katy Perry Featuring Kanye West | 880,517 | 56 | We Are Young | fun. Years later and I’m asking this but have you done one of these for the 80’s? If so do you mind posting it?

The Mainstream Top 40 chart didn’t start until 1992, but the Hot 100 prior to this will be your best bet. Billboard began added rhythmic stations to the mix in 1989, therefore Mainstream Top 40 and Rhythmic are essentially sub panels to the big chart .

As a fan of country music I’d love to see someone compile a decade end for the 90’s as well. For the country airplay chart specifically
