If Drake does release this Friday, and a song connects with the public, he could block her for a while. Not sure why Taylor Nation isn't moving, but perhaps she knows or thinks he isn't dropping anything.

true but if Deja Vu couldn’t immediately debut at 1 after Drivers liscense, I doubt Bad Idea is after the middling performance of Vampire so far tbh.

I also can’t imagine TN not having anything planned. They had us waiting WEEKS after Cruel Summer started trending until it was literally top 12 on US Spotify before they said “Lol it’s a single “””now”. After missing it with Karma, I’m thinking they wanna wait until the coast is completely clear and after Drake drops, nothing can derail it most likely. At this point, we can't predict how a single by Olivia will perform in its first week. She destroyed everything with her debut single and 76M streams, and when people expected another huge first week with deja vu, it 'only' got 20M...and when everyone basically wrote her off, g4u debuted with 43M (and 63M the week after).

vampire is definitely a big success for her, but coming after SOUR, its first week was below our expectations with 35,5M - which is still the biggest streaming week since early April. Like I said before, the most important thing will be the song, if it's catchy and good like g4u, I don't doubt her chances for another #1, especially because it's easier now (250 points) than it was when vampire debuted at #1 (300 points).

Part of me thinks Taylor may let CS get #1 organically since that is possible now. She would beat those allegations that her number ones are fueled by remixes.

Unpopular opinion but i think K-Pop is heavily underrated. I feel like it gets a lot of hate because it was the single chosen to represent Utopia and that was a bad decision honestly but the song itself is still good.
