I found the Kid rock tweet that she supposedly liked, but its from 2019. Whoever provided the screencap of it had been holding on it for like 4 years before this was posted.

Does it really matter what tweets Kacey Musgraves has liked? If she has liked some anti-Taylor tweets some showbiz websites might run an article on it and that's it. It would probably make her more famous, if anything.

Genuinely shocked if Miley lands a top ten debut. The way all the other singles fizzled after Flowers made me think that was a total one-off, and Used to Be Young didn't strike me as an instant smash.

I feel like had they not pushed River at all and moved straight to Jaded oy would've been a decent little hit on comparable scale to probably SZA's "Nobody Gets Me" but unfortunately River tanked. A shame cause its a total bop and still my favorite off ESV alongside hit that got away Violet Chemistry (which imo is the song they really should've made single #2).

Unlikely, because it's streaming, even it stays at its current levels, won't be competitive in most other weeks, and it won't likely ever get huge airplay.

They have the best chance this week. This song might have a problem on country radio because Zach and Casey aren't popular there, just looked at the SITO peak at #20 in CA vs #10 in Hot 100 with great longetivity and it's a bit crazy. If streaming stays stable over 1M then it may have a chance.

Who I’m rooting for #1
1. Zach Brian/Kacey, it’ll be a first for both!
2. Taylor, want her to get a #1 from every album and for St. Vincent to get a #1 credit
3. Luke, Fast Car original reached #1 in a few countries originally not too worried if it doesn’t but it’ll be a shame if it doesn’t given it has spent the longest at #2 under Last Night
4. Doja, it’ll get #1 eventually and it’s not as good as the 3 songs above and it reached #1 in Australia
If either of the former #1’s do it then the US is hopeless

Is 220 chart points the lowest ever for a #1 this decade? I feel like 220 is an unusually low number.


What a shame for Fast Car. It's been stuck at #2 for like 2 months, and it's been above 220 points for a long time. But the one week Luke needs more than 220 points to be #1, he just falls a few points short!

And Taylor Swift's Cruel Summer could easily be #1 by getting an extra 10-15 chart points. A simple tweet from Taylor would get that extra bump to be #1, but looks like they aren't even going to bother.

Once you account for the formula change, 220 is still above the weakest parts of Autumn 2022, though it is still quite weak compared to even just a week or two ago.

Luke & Taylor aren't even trying. They discontinued their discount, and both songs are full price. What a shame for both Fast Car & Cruel Summer. They both deserved #1, and now neither will get it. I expect Doja Cat will be an organic #1 in 2 weeks, just from natural airplay/streaming increases.

I expect Zach & Kacey will easily get #1 with maybe 230 chart points, now that they have a 69 cents discount and it's rising rapidly up the iTunes chart.

I think there is a fair bit of time to do a push. Like Watermelon Sugar back in 2020, the song can be a month or so past its peak and vault 8-1 or something on the push of physicals + MV.

Might be a good news story she wants a month before 1989 TV and when US Eras hype is falling a little

It’s still going to depend on the song not collapsing on streaming as the week goes on.

It's just bad timing for Luke Combs, because his team definitely saw early predictions that they put live version on sales (discounted too) and all streaming platforms, and scheduled tour announcement in last two weeks, only to be blocked by RMNOR.

I guess if his team really wants the #1, then they can re-upload the original acoustic video for Fast Car cover and try to sell that version, but they have to act fast.

Their A game? What is Zach’s team doing besides an iTunes discount? And what is Luke’s team doing considering it apparently went back up in price?

Checking, it turns out that Heat Waves' 5 weeks at #1 in the Hot 100, according to lippredictions @ Twitter managed between 222 and 224 points those weeks. Not taking into account any differences that could be attributed to rule changes, it 220 points could definitely be a low for a #1 since then.
