Interesting, I'm pretty sure these versions came out Wednesday evening, Oct. 18th (around 7pm EST or so correct?), however for some reason they're listed with an Oct. 19 release date, so that would explain why they didn't count until yesterday, and they obviously didn't combine all versions.

And the new versions still got over 950K and 450K streams on US Spotify, which required people had to ACTIVELY CONSUME the song every time they streamed it for it to count.

It will always be so funny when people try to discredit a song's success because of pure raw streams, which requires people to actively consume the song. Yes, there are ways people manipulate streams, but due to the sheer quantity of raw streams it barely makes any impact. 100 extra streams is irrelevant when it comes to charting on the Hot 100.

Please link to the tweets of this because I don't see it (and no, posting midweeks predictions or iTunes placements doesn't count, as well as tweets made after the tracking week was over). If anything, Winston was the one urging Swifties considering his fake prediction of Drake being close to #1 (it never was THAT close and was merely a contender (since it was somewhat close) up until midweek).

Dropping remixes was a thing long before the TOTC account even existed. I guess if you want to say TOTC influenced the release of the remixes, fine, but that sounds like a coping issue considering there's no evidence of this (and why would Taylor's team look at a random chart account to decide whether to release a remix or not?). And maybe you should spend your time getting better at grammar instead of inventing conspiracies about how a random Twitter chart account operates.

Late again but I was busy and there was a lot of happenings this week so let's start with the Top 10.

IDGAF by Drake and Yeat stays on top for a second week in a row. It was down 28.09% but it has a healthy enough lead that it should occupy for another week before 1989 TV drops. It was able to block MONACO which is primed to be the breakout hit from Bad Bunny's new album though it only debuted with 11M. Bad Bunny also had two other debuts in the Top 10, FINA with Young Miko at #8 debuting with 7.7M and PERRO NEGRO with Feid at #10 debuting with 6.6M. First Person Shooter by Drake and J. Cole drops to #3 with a harsh drop of 49.09%, emblematic of the second week numbers for For All the Dogs. Meanwhile hitting a new peak in the Top 10 is Mitski's My Love Mine All Mine, hitting #6 thanks to a 9.76% increase. Finally, rebounding in the Top 10 and poised to finally go to #1 was Cruel Summer which was up 15.59% thanks to her the Eras Tour movie debuting last Friday.

Ironically it was Taylor's concert movie that was the biggest driver of streams this week, even more so than Bad Bunny's newest album. Her catalog really benefited from the movie release as not only did she have three new entries, she had most of the notable gains this week as seen below. That's not to take away anything from Bad Bunny though, who saw gains for three of his previously charting songs and still had a respectable debut of 108M

Someone who didn't have a good week was Drake as despite holding the #1 song, saw a huge drop for For All the Dogs, 61.74% to be exact. I won't go over all the drops as honestly there's way too many but here are just the five biggest: Amen crashed by 71.89%, Calling for You fell by 70.24%, 7969 Santa dropped 69.89%, Fear of Heights went down 69.39%, and Daylight collapsed by 67.51%.

But it was a busy week for albums all around as we saw debuts from the new projects from Ken Carson, Offset, and Troye Sivan. We also saw continued boosts for Water and Stick Season reaching new peaks.
