I liked Ari and LNX’s new songs, I think they’re going to be successful (make top 5 or 10 debuts) on the charts. Let’s not forget 21 Savage’s album, the songs with Brent Faiyaz/Summer Walker/Burna Boy/Mariah The Scientist are really good if you’re an R&B/hip-hop fan.

I always try to have no expectations nowadays cause that ruins the moment. But I feel ill play the new Ari song alot because I like the dance/house sound coming back.(RENAISSANCE)

Can't Get Enough is extremely catchy. I love how it samples Sean Paul's hit song. It would be great to see Jennifer Lopez get another Billboard Hot 100 entry with this song. Btw, the video is fantastic. It is so much fun to watch.

I think Ariana debuts #1 (but it's a closer race with Harlow than expected) and Lil Nas debuts top 15-ish based on nothing but a gut feeling. If so I think both labels move on quickly to the next single. The reception to both has been so polarizing that I think the day 2 drops are gonna be very interesting once everyone gave each a spin or two.

He had the chance to.  It was dependent on the song release. But him as a person had the ability to block her, yes.

Lil Nas X's performance isn't a shocker to me, Call Me By Your Name was controversial but it also was just a good song in general. Catchy chorus, good meme-able lines, etc. I think Lil Nas X could've done some damage even with Ariana releasing if he put out a good song, because J CHRIST is just not it. It's ugly and not catchy at all, it's basically a less good recreation of Kendrick Lamar's Humble or Cardi B's Up. I don't know why he chose to lead with that, it's aggressively mediocre.

He'll still likely get a decent debut because of how weak the points are right now on the chart, I think even Katy Perry could get a Top 10 debut if she released right now. But if he wants another huge hit he's gonna need to give us something else.
