^ Yeah, there has definitely been a noticeable uptick of pop-rock/alt songs on the pop charts recently, between the three you mentioned, Lany, Knox, David Kushner, Noah Kahan, Olivia Rodrigo to an extent, etc. Interestingly, my local CHR has also been playing a few Linkin Park songs as throwbacks recently, and imo that hard of rock doesn't quite fit the format anymore with how pop radio has evolved in the past decade (I believe they played "Numb" in between "Feather" and "Paint the Town Red," and such a heavy song in between two chill, breezy sounding songs was a bit jarring haha). I don't think we'll ever see a full rock revival on pop radio the way it was in the 2000s, but I think some of the more pop-rock songs like the recent ones mentioned above definitely fit and sound good on the format. I'll be interested to see if it morphs into a trend in the next few years.

With Too Sweet and Beautiful Things being the rock-iest things to take off in the mainstream in awhile, this might be able to ride a rock resurgence wave if it can hold on a bit while Too Sweet likely takes off huge here.

With country being as big as it is right now, it makes sense rock would get pulled along for the ride, especially since rock isn't as historically contentious with pop audiences as country is.

Accidentally put this in the wrong thread, but this song reminds me a lot of Call Me from their Sound of Madness album, which I always thought would have made for a big pop hit follow up to Second Chance.
