I think itβs time for Billboard to ban iTunes from counting on the Hot 100. Fortunately, you're joking because banning art, books, film, music, speech, etc. has never worked out well. It *is* the cornerstone of authoritarian governments. Plus, iTunes removal punishes all artists. Yes, and? + dozens of other singles wouldn't have stormed their way to #1. My *freedom* to buy 14 different versions of the same song is sacred American right!

Does anyone have any insight into where the bulk of Lose Control's points are coming from? Cruel Summer still has almost double the audience impressions and is ahead on both Spotify and Apple Music. The gap is certainly closing, but I'm unclear how it vaults to #2 this upcoming week? Is it selling that much? Its overall streams are higher than "CS," so it must be doing really well at Amazon, YouTube, and/or elsewhere.

The gap is certainly closing, but I'm unclear how it vaults to #2 this upcoming week? Is it selling that much? Most of its points last week came from streaming according TOTC. Most of its weekly streams do seem to come from Spotify, but also almost 4 million views were from US YouTube. I assume that it probably is doing much better at Amazon Music and Pandora than at Apple Music. Supposably 5 million streams from Amazon Music and another 5 million streams from Pandora.

it wasn't even #1 on iTunes when Selfish (both kinds!!) came out. Justin was #1 for a while and then Britney replaced him. Only after that, the Ben Shapiro track took over. That was like yesterday at the earliest. No way it could've sold that much in like 2 days max. I believe it was released later, so Selfish had like a 12-18 hour head start over it. It wasn't released at the same time as all the other new releases. But, regardless, I don't believe those sales. I can't see how it isn't charting on Spotify and Apple Music if it's selling that much. Other songs popular with that audience made #1 on Spotify, and this isn't even top 200. That suggests to me it's probably selling more like 100,000 rather than 600,000.
