This was odd:
Reading lyrics with all the songs (Apple Music) and on I Hate It Here they actually have a line completely wrong.
It reads: if I’d been there, I’d hate it.
She actually sings: no midnight in Paris.
Something quite odd since it’s not a chorus that repeats. Anyone can confirm the same on Spotify lyrics?

The first half is 8/10 on my first listen. The second half though, 10/10! This reassures me. In the first 16 I haven’t had an “exile” or “tolerate it” moment. Those songs destroyed me. I’m hopeful that the second half hit me hard. |

Yeah, I’m fully committed to dying on the hill of But Daddy I Love Him being a huge smash after a few more listens. “Screaming but daddy I love him! I’m having his baby… no I’m not, but you should see your faces” would become iconic for her among the general public lol. And “I’ll tell you something right now…” is a hook in and of itself. Figure out how to chop a solid minute off for radio and give it some viral bait video since there’s loads of potential there, and it will be huge.

I woke at 5am and listened to some of the standard album and it was a little meh for me, but I’m going to listen properly now. The second half is almost all Dessner?! I am not ready. Oh my God
