Random, but given how inclusive Taylor has been with Greek mythology throughout the last few years of her career, I would find a Greek-inspired album full of songs representative and reflective of her favorite Greek goddesses so intriguing! For example, for Aphrodite she could pen songs about love and desire. For Hera, a song about marriage. For Athena, a new, slick revenge banger and so on and so forth. I dunno about anyone else, but I love a good concept album.

I'm nervous for the Grammys this year. Lol I'm gonna keep the faith in TTPD though because I feel like it's among her strongest work. I personally feel TTPD houses some of her best-written work and is my personal favorite album of Taylor's, but unfortunately I feel as if too many odds are invariably stacked against her this year. Despite TTPD's massive success, Billie and Beyonce are competing as the AOTY front-runners IMO, with Beyonce feeling like a safe bet given the incessant complaints of her being overlooked time and time again and after Jay Z's speech last year I could see them giving her AOTY as a consolation (btw Cowboy Carter is an amazing album and no "consolation" quality-wise, just the Academy likely wouldn't award this album specifically without all the pushback). Plus there'd be too much pushback from Taylor winning a 4th time, especially so soon after securing her 3rd AOTY win (really TTPD should've had Midnights' Grammy). lol "Fortnight" isn't close to one of Taylor's best nor more successful singles and is competing against a slew of more worthy, quite frankly better songs, so its chances are non-existent. It was never a "Grammy winning" type song anyway and should be lucky it was considered lead to snag a few nominations IMO. Billie is sure to take pop vocal album. I think "Die With A Smile" will take Pop Duo. Music video, her best bet, is likely going to Kendrick. I dunno why they didn't submit "Cruel Summer (live)" or for film which would have been her two best shots at wins this year. Yet they felt good about sending in the bland, non-eventful, "Us"??? Sigh. It's going to be a challenging night for Taylor. lol |

Back in the Billboard Top 200 Top 10 too. After Anthology numbers are added in, this will easily be at 7+ Million. For 2024, a big deal. A VERY big deal for sure (really, for ANY time period). This is looking to outsell Midnights which is just insane. It's already passed 6 million and once The Anthology releases we'll be questioning 8 million and possible diamond certification by the end of it all. |

I'v been listening (re-listening in Taylor's case) to AOTY Nominees this week and I gotta say But Daddy I Love Him is sensational. Top tier material in her entire discography. The bridge is perfection and the entire song is just so damn good. TTPD may not be my favorite era overall from her but there are still career defining moments on it despite maybe being a bit bloated.

Just a FYI, Target is having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale on Music, Movies and Books that entire Thanksgiving week, but the Taylor new releases are unfortunately excluded.

Willow will cross it about the same time - but ATW10MV will surely reach 1B about a month earlier than the others. Yep exactly! My calculations show LS TV making it approximately 8 days before the OG. But this will only happen if LS TV keeps ahead basically every day by no less than 300k, which it has been doing for like 7 months now. Yeah, ATW will make it before them all. But she's definitely getting there with all these songs by the Spring. Karma, The Man, You Belong With Me TV will make it in a year too if they keep up their pace. IKYWT also within like 10 months. |
