I'd be all on board for a dance music album with some elevated lyrics.
"This Is What You Came Here" sound works.

Those upset she didn't address it should have understood why, but alas. At least they have their answer.

Any word on her endorsing Kamala? Or at least saying something regarding Trump's usage of those AI images? A friend of mine told me yesterday that Trump just used Beyonce's Freedom (?!). Not sure yet if that's true. I would love for Beyonce and Taylor both publicly officially endorsing Kamala.

Lots of people are suggesting she’s a surprise guest tonight at the DNC. Do we think she’s there to announce Reputation TV? 😂

I do hope Taylor supports Kamala and does a fundraiser for her. Kamala is a positive and SANE person. We need support and Taylor's endorsement would be a big help to Kamala's campaign. Artists like Beyonce, Katy and Cher always end up supporting and working for the Democratic nominee. All of these women are intelligent and caring. We need positivity and hope. Too much negativity and meanness out there now. Too much hate and not enough hope.

Lover is now the 12th most-streamed album of all time of Spotify and the 5th most-streamed album by a female artist ever. It will be passing When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go shortly for 10th and 4th place respectively. Absolutely nuts. The fact that Lover is this huge in retrospect is crazy. lol And the title track is also racking up streams like crazy as well for it to have performed as if did. I mean it's at 1.5 billion and is continuously one of her most-streamed singles.

Justice for Lover. While I don’t rank it higher than her more recent work, I will say that it didn’t deserve the reputation it garnered upon release. Plus it contains Cruel Summer, one of the best in her whole discography. Add that to Cornelia Street, Death By A Thousand Cuts, the title track, Miss Americana, Paper Rings…it’s a pretty epic effort. I think things would have been totally different from a perception perspective had Cruel Summer just led the set.

Still waiting on "False God" to have its moment... The taste!!! A Lover highlight! I am dying for Taylor to do a whole album flavored in this style.

Still waiting on "False God" to have its moment... The way I spammed the hell out of that and Afterglow in 2019. The latter of which I will forever maintain was the Cruel Summer of her ballads for hit potential.

Everybody knows Lover has a special place in my heart.
The album has some of her very best, glistening moments. It’s just fucking clunky!

The False God love makes me so happy. There was so much hate for False God when it first came out, and people were PRESSED she sang it on SNL lol. But it’s always been a career highlight for me.

Everybody knows Lover has a special place in my heart. The album has some of her very best, glistening moments. It’s just fucking clunky! I will stand by it easily being the best of her traditional pop trio (1989, Lover, Midnights). I think it’s just a handful to misfires being trimmed off away from being a modern pop masterpiece. And unfortunately most of said misfires were the singles at the time lol (except the title track).

I would have loved to have been in the room when she and her team were planning the Lover rollout. Album contains 5 of her strongest tracks ever... and none of them were planned singles lol. We'll never know what they were thinking aside from, "Rep was dark and moody. Let's do a hard pivot and be as silly and political as possible!"

Ooh, Lover is one of my absolute favorite albums to fantasize about an alternate reality single rollout:
1. Cruel Summer 2. I Forgot That You Existed (it’s Bad Blood 2.0. A bit basic and not a fan favorite, but it’s as chart and radio bait as it gets. #1 after CS momentum imo) 3. Afterglow (becomes her signature ballad hit) 4. Miss Americana (Wildest Dreams 2.0, give it an epic vid)
5. I Think He Knows OR Paper Rings OR Death By a Thousand Cuts (all could’ve worked in differed ways here, but also a 5th single wouldn’t have happened bc of Folklore, so we’d have to pretend that came out at a later time for this reality)

Lover could've been a fully fabulous time had the J. Little sessions never happened. Preferred rollout:
1. Paper Rings 2. Lover 3. Cruel Summer 4. London Boy but idk if you guys are ready for that conversation

I’m sure London Boy could’ve worked too with the right momentum. Any of the uptempos besides Me, YNTCD, and The Man tbh. Also idk who need to hear it, but Lover was never a chart hit, I’m sorry. Destined for wedding staple, which it became.

1. Cruel Summer (Single #1 - April 2019) 2. Death by a Thousand Cuts (Single #2 - August 2019) 3. Lover (Single #3 - January 2020) 4. Miss Americana (Single #4 but more of a buzz single for the election - April 2020)
Then COVID takes over and ruins everything (but gives us Folklore).
Had COVID not happened:
5. Afterglow (June 2020) 6. False God (November 2020) 7. Cornelia Street (February 2021)

Unpopular opinion, but I'm not the biggest fan of "Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince" and would prefer it remains an album track.
I would probably have done
1. I Think He Knows - would have accomplished the same feat as "ME!" with a much stronger song 2. Cruel Summer 3. Lover 4. False God 5. The Man 6. Afterglow

I'd have loved the singles to have been...
1. Cruel Summer 2. Death by a Thousand Cuts 3. Lover 4. False God 5. Paper Rings

My lover fantasy:
1) YNTCD 2) Cruel Summer 3) DBATC 4) Lover (featuring Ed Sheeran)
Lover is not meant to go more than 4 singles deep IMO

Still waiting on "False God" to have its moment... I was kind of hoping TTPD would be 'False God: The Album' but, alas...

1.) "Cruel Summer" 2.) "Miss Americana And The Heartbreak Prince" 3.) "Lover" 4.) "I Think He Knows" 5.) "False God"
Alternate: "You Need To Calm Down"
This would have been a perfect era for me

I made 13-track versions of all her albums except Debut based on nothing but my own preferences, if anyone's interested. Some resequencing was done.
Notes: - Fearless OG was largely kept in tact. I just swapped out The Best Day for Mr. Perfectly Find. - Not a fan of the Speak Now or Red deluxe tracks, so those are both standard + vault - 1989 was fun to re-sequence and I think Say Don't Go fits well in the All You Had To Do Was Stay spot - Reputation was actually the hardest because the only song I don't like is End Game, so I removed the one that I thought had the most generic production - folklore and evermore were hard too, while Lover and TTPD were easy - Midnights was pretty smooth too, because I got rid of the middle part of the album that drags it down for me (sorry Midnight Rain stans). The only one that was hard to cut was Bigger Than The Whole Sky
