But where will the anthology vinyl be sold in Canada?? Usually available on her website here, and sometimes stores like Sunrise Records will have them.

Good for the fans of this album. I guess the 3am edition on vinyl is never coming?!

Wait - there’s 35 tracks on the Anthology? 4 new songs, or are they more likely to be remixes? Now that I think about it, she wouldn’t pass up the chance for a new song or two.

I've seen it'll be 4 acoustic tracks That’s disappointing. It looks like it might just be the CD version, but the USA Today article I read was unclear.EDIT: Never mind, it's both formats according to Target's website.

As someone who usually pre-orders her new albums on vinyl each release, I never got around to getting any for TTPD. Definitely going to get this Anthology vinyl though since it's the complete edition.

The anthology vinyl are gorgeous. Kind of hate the four acoustic songs are apparently eras tour acoustic cuts of non-TTPD songs but sure.

I think I am most excited for the tour book, as, outside of a couple of tracks, I don't use the Anthology songs at all. Knowing me though, I will get the Anthology on vinyl, especially if the packaging is significantly different. If not, I'll probably get the CD. The fact that the tour book is over 300 pages makes me think it's going to be at LEAST $50. As much as Target can annoy me sometimes by not actually having albums on release day (even their "exclusives"), I was really impressed with the reputation magazine and Lover book, as well as the 1989 OG version CD with the Polaroids.
Edit: Wow @ the tour book only being $40. I am impressed. I also think partnering again with Target was smart. They don't usually sell out of product, when they actually have it to sell. I've gone there and seen displays full of Taylor albums at the front of the store, by the music section, AND on the shelves in the music section, LOL.

Finally some releases I can get behind. The Anthology vinyls look so cool. I doubt that the bonus tracks are "I Can See You", "Maroon", "Death By A Thousand Cuts" and "You Are In Love" though. These were the four bonus surprise songs from The Eras Tour film on Disney Plus, so maybe they copied that part from a different article and forgot to correct it.
Also, I've always loved her tour books and this looks like a lovely coffee table book to have. Pleasantly surprised that it's priced like most books like this, at 40 dollars.

Geez a Black Friday release?! Any other major artists releasing that day? I’m afraid to guess what her numbers will be but maybe 350-400k for the complete edition? Could easily be a few extra weeks at #1 if no one outside of Adele or Drake releases…

I’ll likely get the CD but skip the vinyl since I already have the regular on vinyl and outside of a couple songs, I don’t listen to a lot of Anthology tracks so the CD will be enough. But I might also splurge too.

That said, I have bought all of my music on vinyl (except Katy Perry's 143, which I got on CD) in the last couple years, so I will probably bite the bullet and drop $100+ on Taylor that day.

Also worth noting that she seems to have bypassed the traditional publishing model — like she did with the film — and is publishing the book herself under Taylor Swift Publications. So she won't need to split her profits with a publisher.
A businesswoman.

I have a dumb question. Will this Anthology be considered as the actual TTPD album, or as a new entry? If this Anthology goes to #1 on the BB Top 200, would they consider it TTPD's 16th Week at #1, or the First week at #1 for Anthology as a new album? It gets confusing when they sometimes consider these things as new and sometimes do not.

If she had released The Anthology tracks as a standalone release it would have charted separately.

A good example is this week's BRAT remix edition. Disc 2 includes the entire OG BRAT album to make it count. On the other hand the Encanto vinyl outright excluded some songs for length issues and it ended up as an extra BB200 entry that didn't help the album.
So yeah, this will all count as one TTPD album on the charts.

The Albatross is still my favorite from the Anthology followed by Peter, The Black Dog and The Bolter! The ABSOLUTE FLAWLESS TASTE! My favorites on Anthology are: 1.) "The Bolter" 2.) "The Albatross" 3.) "The Black Dog" 4.) "How Did It End?" 5.) "So High School" Obsessed with all tbh. I feel like the first four are some of the best-written songs in her discography!

My favorites from The Anthology are:
imgonnagetyouback How Did It End? So High School I Hate It Here thanK you aIMee The Prophecy Peter The Bolter
Initially The Anthology I preferred on release, but I find myself returning to the tracks from the main album more (specially the first 6 tracks which I think are the best on the main album alongside Guilty As Sin?).

There’s only maybe 2 songs from Anthology I’d cut entirely. The remaining 29 songs are all varying degrees of songs I like (though I still stick to my 20-track version).
