I like this more and more with every listen. I can see this being a massive multi-format radio hit. Another #1 on the Hot 100 in future for her even? As her airplay potential is massive for this!

Kinda eh on this one. The production is serving Mumford & Sons/Lumineers and I'm just not a fan of that sound in general. I complain like hell when Pink does it, lol. I don't want it from Beyoncé either. yeah, it sounds like a mix of Ho Hey and Renegades by X Ambassadors to me. It's better than BMS, for sure. |

I've tried and tried but I still don't really care for either song. Country is just not my thing outside a few artists and a certain time period. But I love Bey and will enjoy following it's success. I think it will be really fun to see.

People are literally trying to like the song, hilarious. That says everything. It is better than the first listen where I could barely make it though the song but definitely not something I want to actually listen to - will be interesting to see how this does organically with the general public.

These songs have more connection to authentic country than most of what is currently on country radio, so I can't wait to hear the excuses for what country fans say about it since it's from Beyonce/a Black woman. I saw one saying “we are a country station, we don’t play Beyoncé”. Granted, they might not have known these were country songs and assumed it was more Renaissance style, but still EDIT: I see Wave already posted about that, sorry. I’m not sure how I feel about this, but it is quite good. The only Beyonce songs I cared about recently were XO, Daddy Issues, All Night and XO. Also, she has released the acapella and instrumental, which, as a mashup artist, I am so happy she has gotten into the habit of doing |
