So, who is the additional feature and what song is it? Flamenco is the “bonus” track on the CD. Oh. He made it sound like there was an extra vocalist and different vocals on a song LOL.

There are some slight differences in production on a few tracks specifically Tyrant, intro to Desert Eagle and changed lyrics on American Requiem. I guess there are additional male vocals on Jolene as well. For as monumental as this album is, the rollout has been a bit messy.

Nothing beats messy ass BDAY. That's my fave bey album Finally!! B’Day is my favorite Beyoncé album too! I am really missing the visuals for this album, I would have loved to see Bey’s version of a country hoe down or a Houston cookout.

I'm pretty sure the physicals being shipped to the retailers on 4/12 is the complete album. The vinyl from B's website is 1LP but the standard is 2 which leads me to believe that it will be the complete edition since one LP can only hold about 25 minutes per side. I hope the label does something for the fans who preordered from her webstore. Pretty sure the album on her website (Limited Ed) is two vinyl discs from what i’ve seen. But i hope you’re right!! I had only saw one unboxing with only one vinyl so that's my bad.

I didn't say because you know *spoilers* and I was still listening to the album when I posted lol
"Hands II Heaven" is a little longer with extra vocals also.

I saw something about a demo version of "16 Carriages" featuring #DC5 but I wasn't sure if that was real.

I got my vinyl today and it literally says "Beyonce - Beyince - act ii" on the fucking spine lol. Such a rare misstep from a perfectionist!

I guess they were pressed and needed to sell them but she should have informed the public. As long as I get the standard version with horse cover and a photo backed insert book, I’m ok.

How long did it take between Renaissance the regular edition and the deluxe. I only got the CD with a T-shirt in a cardboard box that I never looked at again after I uploaded it to my computer.

I guess they were pressed and needed to sell them but she should have informed the public. As long as I get the standard version with horse cover and a photo backed insert book, I’m ok. I agree. They should have been upfront about this. My current theory, based on information I found online, is this: - In 2021, towards the end of the year, there were rumors that Beyoncé "visited a vinyl plant" and "picked colors" for her next LP pressing. - Now that we know COWBOY CARTER was intended to be Act I, and considering RENAISSANCE only came out on black vinyl, it's safe to assume "BEYINCÉ" was set and ready to go in 2021 and vinyl production was underway for a 2022 launch, with red, white, and blue variants. (Probably the same copies we're getting now!) - There is also concrete evidence that the standard COWBOY CARTER album art was shot relatively recently, while the limited/physical cover photo is older. - Then, somewhere along the way, they pivoted to RENAISSANCE being Act I. Which is why RENAISSANCE only had 30k vinyl copies ready to be shipped on release day in July (the limited web store edition) and the standard vinyl was delayed until October. - The question of "missing tracks" still remains -- are they the songs she worked on after 2021? "SPAGHETTII" surely sounds recent to me based on lyrical content and production choices. "YA YA" and "FLAMENCO" I'm less certain of, though the former might have been influenced by Tina Turner's passing. TL;DR -- due to the changes in scheduling, they ended up with a bunch of stock that has an earlier version of the album & cover art. instead of chucking those out, they branded it "limited edition" and sold to fans. it's a good choice for the environment and lining up Bey's pockets, but unfortunately deceives the consumers.

Not related directly to Bey, but I'm confused by the lack of manpower/facilities for vinyl pressings that we're constantly hearing about. There has been such an uptick in that physical medium over the last decade with no signs of slowing down. Why are these companies not keeping up / expanding to meet demand? Vinyl production is actually increasing. I believe its no longer a six month backlog. But the big issue is that setting up a new factory with new presses requires specialized machinery that no longer exists at scale. Most vinly presses are vintage for that reason. Basically, creating a factory to create vinyl factories at scale is pretty hard and hasn't been done for decades. There are a few companies that have been manufacturing new vinyl presses but not at the big of scale. And there parts of the supply line that are still entirely dependent on vintage technology with no current manufacturers. www.billboard.com/pro/new-vinyl-record-pressing-factory-plants-demand/

I'm loving "Levi Jeans" lately. It gave me the same feeling "Sunflower" gave me when I first heard it: an instant chill vibe and happiness.

The thing is that even with the increase in vinyl sales, it is still an extremely niche market. The average consumer is not spending $30-40 on an album that they likely have no way to actually play. Vinyl sales are being driven by a handful of major artists, and it doesn't make sense to take a risk on expanding production capabilities when you dont know when the bottom is going to fall out (and it is going to fall out)

There are popular for most artists with at least a small fanbase. There’s enough demand for quite a few more vinyl factories. But the issue is that it isn’t clear whether there is enough demand to create a factory to create new vinyl presses. That’s the expensive part since there hasn’t been a factory like that for several decades.

I’m no expert but it could be that the album is simply too long for the vinyls?…

Sounds like someone of you have some collectables! They will probably be worth a lot one day (along with the original vinyl of Renaissance)....I'd be upset but not too upset.

You can fit 20-25 minutes per side on vinyl. The album is 79 minutes, so it should fit fine on a double LP.
Based on the artwork, the title and the actual tweaking of the music itself, it's pretty obvious that physical albums were pressed and then she made some final changes to the album. Hopefully we get a corrected full pressing, but let's be real, we almost never get those, lol.

I do believe there are more independent craftsmen now involved in making it (or trying to) but it's still a huge endeavor that the industry can't fully accommodate yet; they have been able to increase the production and shorten backlogs but it’s still reliant on having enough lacquer to use.

The album continues to grow on me. This is the most...interesting Beyonce has been in quite some time. I respect and appreciate that. She really is not fucking around here. Also, I would say this album has her best vocal performances to date. I'm convinced she can sing pretty much anything. I think it's safe to say I'll be waiting for reports from the 4/12 release before making any purchases. Crossing my fingers for a miracle, LOL. I'm loving "Levi Jeans" lately. It gave me the same feeling "Sunflower" gave me when I first heard it: an instant chill vibe and happiness. Been in my Top 3 since I first heard the album. They did such a good job with Post's vocals. I agree with the Sunflower comparisons, in terms of the mood in which it instantly puts me.

Outstreamed Renaissance’s first week numbers in less than 4 days. If they didn’t mess up the physical, this could’ve opened with 450-500K.

Lion King and that joint album really could've sealed her fate. Thank God she dumped that era.

Wildly impressive she’s still outselling her debut’s debut 20 years later and when sales aren’t anywhere near as big (and she was already a huge name with the debut thanks to DC).
