That streaming hold (and gain!) is incredible. This is why chart peaks/positions aren’t comparable in different weeks. Context is vital. If this manages to go to #1 on the Hot 100, it will feel (emphasis on feel, it’s all subjective at the end of the day) more like a genuine #1 than Yes And, where everything but the kitchen sink was thrown out there to secure the top spot. This is getting there based purely on it being a good song (with the benefit of SNL and a music video, of course)

im not the biggest fan of this song, but im happy its gaining traction. it would've been sad for this to be a flop era (relative to previous ag albums), especially since the non-singles ive heard off the album have all been pretty good.

There is absolutely nothing else catchy to make a single after this and The Boy Is Mine. It's a very subdued slow personal project type of album
