Lose Control really bout to be the most lackluster #1 in recent memory. I seriously don’t think there’s even been such a #1 this boring and truly uneventful since like the 2000s.

The song itself is just a slow blues track by a debut artist that absolutely has no hype behind him, like there's literally nothing else for me to say about this song.

It will be remembered mostly because it dissed Nicki, whose song released that same week helped it blow up in streaming for that week. Otherwise, it was probably as inconsequential as Life Goes On.

I highly doubt that, at least amongst the mainstream. Maybe if you're amongst the most core fanbases of Megan and Nicki, but even then, the song was only a streaming juggernaut for a single week and got little to no airplay. It simply wasn't big enough for long enough to gain any sort of memorable impression like that, and was even noted right upon release for not being that catchy.
