Olivia also doing pretty well with all five new tracks debuting with over 1 million! Would be much higher in rank if not for Future/Metro Boomin and Hozier. A couple songs also charting on Apple Music so far. The album should get a nice little boost.

A bit puzzled by the Hozier track. Doesn't really seem anything special or standout from him, and wouldn't be surprised if it plummets in the following days.

I'm very impressed by Hozier's longevity, even though he hasn't had a huge radio hit since Take Me To Church, he's stayed consistently popular in certain circles and it seems recently he's become commercially viable again since dudes like Noah Kahan and Zach Bryan started getting hits.

Metro's debut isn't shocking, Like That is the most talked about song right now and it'll probably lead to a huge summer for rap with Drake and J. Cole no doubt responding with their own tracks. Along with Beyonce next week and Taylor following after, 2024 is finally ramping up. 100 percent more exciting than last year!

They seem to be promoting Obsessed as a full-on single, as it got over 6 million radio impressions its first day. I'm not really sure it will do any better than Bad Idea Right though long term, because like that, it just doesn't sound too radio friendly to me.

I wonder if "Obsessed" will trend up throughout the week and debut top 10? It had a good hold day 2 on spotify. Will likely see it climb back in the top 10 on spotify with some of the Future & Metro Boomin album falling.

I have to say the last few weeks or so have been really fun chart-wise with so many big releases and lots of unexpected things happening! Will be nice to see a number of songs become recurrent this week with the Future & Metroboomin/Hozier/Olivia debuts.

Sooo confused and shocked by the Hozier smashery. 3.3m US debut is insane, surpassing Beyoncé and Ariana’s lead singles. I didn’t realize Hozier had that kind of fanbase, the last I heard of him was TMTC a decade ago.

It sounds like a mid range radio hit from 2014. But I’ll always support an actually talented artist getting their chart flowers 👏
