Great sales for Beyoncé! I hope the album holds up decently in the coming days so that it might trend towards a 400k+ opening.

Super impressive! Would love to squeeze in 400K. For Beyonce at this point in her career, that is pretty incredible. It's clear that the risk of making a country album ended up being a lightning rod for interest rather than a turn off.

Great numbers for Beyonce! On par, actually slightly better than Renaissance! I prefer this album to Renaissance so it's nice to see! Plus it's good to see a female enjoy this level of success this late into her career! WOW! This is a week for the record books. Looks like this "may" open at #1 on Country Albums? If so, how far are we going back with this cause there are a few female country albums (Fearless, Speak Now, Up! off top of my head) that have sold more on their first week than both this and Carnival Ride. |

I mean Speak Now TV just a few months ago had 700k+ and it was counted as a country album. But record-breaking or not, it's still a very good number for Beyonce. Fingers crossed its closer to 400k.

Usually you would see a free-fall after the release of a deluxe issue, especially if the album wasn't currently smashing hard. |
