Topped by B-Boy! Also, the taste here is...questionable.

45. Streiht Up Menace - MC Eiht (47): Fine with this showing up as this was one of my lower rankings. Can't remember this now but Iam sure I didn't care for it hence my #47 rank. 44. Let's Talk About Sex - Salt-N-Pepa (18): Aww bummer to see this song show up already. This isn't one of my very favorites from Salt-N-Pepa but it's still a song that I really like from them. It has a strong message to it and love how they rap on this. 43. Whoomp! (There It Is) - Tag Team (17): Ahh dangg, not yet another Top 20 reveal of mine showing up. Ughh this is too many of them showing up. :( Love this song though. This is so fun, entertaining and just makes me happy when I hear it. Such a good, fun and classic jam! 42. Freek-A-Leek - Petey deleted (16): Dangg poor Lucy88 is getting such a rough set with these reveals, I've noticed. :( But dangg yet another Top 20 song of mine to show up. Ughh I hate seeing all of these jams I really like/love showing up. This is so good and so fun. 41. Christmas Rappin' - Kurtis Blow (32): While not the ideal song for me to show up next, I will certainly take this reveal over the last 3. This is cool and I like this but it's one of those songs I'm not that familiar with.

I was shocked that "WAP" was placed so low. But then again, this rankdown is highly competitive.
Speaking of "Freek-A-Leek" and "Yeah!", I thought it was cool that Ludacris was able to perform over the beat during the halftime show. His cadence fits the melody perfectly.

Welcome back! Starting off today's reveals is the song that has the 9th lowest SD. Two people will lose a Top 20 while three others will lose a bottom 10.

40. What U Waitin' 4? - Jungle Brothers (44): Don't really remember this song but don't think I really cared much for this. I'm fine with this showing up here. 39. Step In The Arena - Gang Starr (49): Oooh nice, didn't remember that I still had my #49 lingering around but yeah perfectly fine with this showing up as I didn't care for this. 38. Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-A-Lot (3): Dangggg, I just KNEW that when one of my lowest ranks would show up, one of my highest ranks would soon follow. Ughhh, "Baby Got Back" got robbed. :'( Loveee this song a ton. This is iconic and is such a undeniable classic. This is one of those songs that always makes me smile and happy. And hahaha also one of those songs I kinda can't help but rap along to, lmao. 37. Tell Me When To Go - E-40 feat. Keak Da Sneak (33): This is cool and a fine song. I think this was my least favorite of the songs I knew and was super familiar with on this list? But I still like it. I do prefer another song from E-40, namely "U and Dat." 36. Born To Roll - Masta Ace Incorporated (40): This is another alright song. Wasn't too familiar with it. I didn't dislike it but it also didn't do much to stand out for me either. Outside of "Baby Got Back," this was a good day of reveals for me.

Baby Got Back: A classic! Not Ms. Jenny From The Block being an inspiration for the song. lol.
Tell Me When To Go: I think it's crazy that it peaked at #36 on the R&B and Hip Hop chart. I would've thought it peaked in the Top 20.
Born To Roll: I didn't get a West Coast vibe until I read the YouTube comments. It didn't sound like anything that came out of 1994. The G-Funk sound was dominant in rap at the time.

Welcome back! The song at #30 is actually tied with #31, it's placed higher because it has a Top 10. Five people will also be saying goodbye to a bottom 10.

I didn't realize Baby Got Back was so divisive! I thought it was considered to be a hip-hop classic! Anyway, don't forget about Foxy Brown's "Foxy's Bells," which lifted heavily from Rock The Bells!

31. Set Adrift On Memory Bliss - P.M. DawnP.M. Dawn was formed in Jersey City, New Jersey by Attrell Cordes (Prince Be) and his brother Jarrett (Eternal/DJ Minutemix). They scored their first big hit in 1991 with "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss". It peaked at #6 on the dance chart, #16 on the R&B chart, and was the first #1 on the Hot 100 when the switch to Soundscan was implemented. Samples "True" by Spandau Ballet, "Ashley's Roachclip" by the Soul Searchers, and the Bob James version of "Take Me To The Mardi Gras". Unfortunately things would take a turn. After Prince Be suffered a stroke in 2005, his cousin Doc G (Gregory Carr II) took over the trademark and music rights to P.M. Dawn. In 2013 he re-recorded "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss" without any input from Prince Be or DJ Minutemix, and it was the only version available on streaming platforms for the next decade. The original version was added back to all streaming services in March 2024. Prince Be passed away from kidney disease in 2016. P.M. Dawn currently consists of Doc G and producer K-R.O.K. 35. Lay Low - Snoop Dogg (23): Really like this and think this is a cool song from Snoop. Not one of my ultimate favorites from him but still a fan of this. 34. Rock The Bells - LL Cool J (21): A definite great classic from LL Cool J. I like this song but I do like and connect more with more of his other songs. But this was a song I also expected to do better than this. 33. Dirty South - Goodie Mob (39): While I wasn't too upset with the other reveals, I'm glad to see one of my lower ranks show up. Not familiar with this song but it was okay for me. Fine with this showing up. 32. Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem) - Jay-Z (10): LOL Dangg, I knew I jinxed myself when I said I wasn't mad about any of the reveals today. Now this song, a Top 10 of mine, shows up and now I'm mad. Anywho, Love this song! It's a great classic from Jay-Z. I love how and all of what he raps here and love the Annie sample here too. 31. Set Adrift On Memory Bliss - P.M. Dawn (24): Not super familiar with this song but I feel like I see this talked about or posted here in so many rankdowns, hahaha. But yeah I did really enjoy this song. I can see this growing on me if I were to listen to it more.

(Sha)Tashaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa was ROBBED. When she starts caterwauling at the end, sounding like one of my tone-deaf cousins at a family reunion, I die every time.
