This is almost speeding towards smash TOO soon for its prime song of the summer potential. I’m sure they deliberately released it a bit early thinking it would have to build to a summer proper peak, but damn

I just hope streaming stays stable for the summer but it’s too early to tell. However, it feels like we’re in the making of a long lasting smash.

I kept hearing about this in Taylor threads... so listened. What a bop. Pre-chorus is indeed great.
Also, I'm sure this has been said elsewhere, but this sounds like a Dr Luke production. And yet, it isn't. Proof we can fully drop him.

^As much as I’d love to see that, I think it has more to do with Katy using ‘Espresso’ in an IG reel last week. I think Katy is prepping to start a new era soon and ‘Espresso’ doesn’t really need help from a featured remix, unless they really want that final push to #1. I’d say the follow is a coincidence but I’ve been wrong before.
