There's really no similarity between the songs. "Both songs have chanting in the bridge" is such a lame argument, it would've lost in court but Taylor clearly knew that a new young artist would cave to her threats, rather than risk going against the most powerful person in music.

Taylor has very skillfully made an entire brand of playing the underdog victim in legal disputes, when in reality she is the billionaire Goliath bullying the little guy for his lunch money.
