Someone needs to reintroduce her to the idea of hooks because...It sounds like she's just reading her diary with some synthpop beat as background.
Anyways, can't wait to see how it performs on the charts. So excited for it!

Morganβs last album had even more at 36 tracks and itβs been dominating. Canβt blame her if she has enough material

Iβm really starting to believe this girl is chart-obsessed. lmaoooooo she's been playing the chart game since she started dropping those pre album singles on iTunes to get easy top 10 peaks back in 2009. My girl loves the game. 31 tracks is kinda crazy though.

Canβt blame her if she has enough material The problem is, the quality for more than half of these tracks should have stayed in the vault. Artists typically record at least x2-3 times the number of tracks they have on a regular edition and pick <20 tracks for the Standard version. I love Tay but this album ain't it for me.

People complaining about the length of albums never make any sense to me in a world where you can easily trim what you consider to be the "fat" and compile your own unique preferred tracklisting. It reminds me of people who complain about sequels or remakes like they have to watch them. lol I'm never going to complain about having even more options, especially with an artist I love. Admittedly it is jarring/unexpected, but not a bad thing IMO (unless you dislike the artist, then I'm sure it's quite easily annoying lol).
Eta: Though I forget we're in an era where the attention span is non-existent and people are skipping through songs longer than 2.5 minutes. lol Maybe it's because I'm 36 and am used to enjoying and appreciating longer songs/albums period.

I'm a fan but my patience has its limits - I think being a fan does not mean you have to love every single thing that your fave releases. Currently taking a break from TTPD because 1 listen has already exhausted me - especially when there are only a few songs I can get excited about.

People expect cohesion from artists like Taylor but itβs super hard to do that with 31 songs. I definitely created my own version of the album to listen to in its entirety, and I will listen to all the other songs that didnβt make the cut as stand alones. Sonically the 31 song album is not very cohesive but there is a 16-17 song album in there that is!

Yeah just seems like... a lot, as someone who isn't a Swiftie. Between all the studio albums, re-records, etc we now have another 31 tracks. It's like 800 songs this decade from Taylor Never Broke Again.
I might just listen to the standard version sometime this weekend and call it in. Especially when a lot of the reception for this album doesn't seem to be as good as her prior music.

Fortnight featuring Post Malone is the most catchiest song. It has that 80s pop vibe.
