I know the world is waiting with bated breath for a Rep announcement, but she's a criminal mastermind. She knows she has a stranglehold over BB200 and international year-end album charts. There is no point in releasing another album this year (at least not until the next "chart" year begins).

So during the 2 month break between the European leg and the next American leg, will we get a video for this? The last week of August might be around the time this starts to peak airplay-wise. May be the perfect time to strike.

As someone who has enjoyed TS’s catalog since 1989ish, I have to say, this track is one of her weakest singles, it completely reminds me of whatever song I already forget the name of that was released after the momentum of Cruel Summer- and I liked Fortnight.

This chorus is quite frankly, a disaster.

This single isn't making much noise, like Fortnight, because this era has been somewhat of a cultural nonevent (by Taylor's standards) aside from coverage of its sales and chart achievements. Taylor was the cultural conversation late 2022-early 2024 and reached a peak rarely witnessed before. Naturally that's leveled off as other girls have become the current moment like Sabrina, Chappell, Charli.

The success of Cruel Summer displays virtually all reasons why this album should not have been released for another year. However, the made up Kelce/Swift relationship/cross promotion (I mean, come on…) can only last so long too.

Iconic artist, but even iconic artists can last so long. Ask Prince, dude was begging for radio hits in the late 90s, no one talks about the fact he was on the Scream 3 Soundtrack, he had 10-12 massive years, fell off. Same with Elvis. Same with MJ. The public gets older, moves on to other things.

The singles failure on this album is showing that. This will tank soon, she needs to go away for a few years. It’s simply too much. It’s overkill.

LOL. As a lifelong Swiftie, TS12 could be the worst album ever made, not only by her standards but by anyone’s, and I’ll still be here. I’ve gone to the trenches before for her and I’ll gladly do it again. It’s all subjective, anyway; one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Bottom line, her fans are not going anywhere even if she does rest on her laurels musically. She’s got nothing more to prove to the fickle general public, and as someone who’s been in the game for nearly 20 years now and is almost midway to her 40s, radio is going to naturally dry up for her no matter what—and probably soon, honestly. This song is proving so far to be a hit—some artists can only dare to dream to have a fraction of the radio success Taylor has had in the past couple years, let alone the past 10 years.
