It's a critical release and there's very little chance she wastes this hype and then somehow bounced back with another single. I also am praying this is not a Dr. Luke song; however, Kim Petras working with him hasn’t come with any sort of repercussions with her popularity, so I guess I’m not convinced it’s going to hurt her that much so long as the song is stellar.

Heard the full thing and it matches the snippet she posted today, its very Ava Max but leaning towards her worst stuff like So Am I/Weapons and of course Dr. Luke being involved makes it worse (funnier considering Ava herself doesn't have any tracks with him I believe), overall not a good start for a comeback that has been hyped up and teased for so long.
At least the cover art is a serve and she looks great?

The sound on TikTok isn’t even grammatically correct (“Womans World” instead of “Woman’s World”). Does the snippet remind anybody else of “International Smile” from PRISM? I could very easily imagine “Sexy, confident, so intelligent” leading into “takes you miles high, cus she’s got that one international smile”.

I think the leak is real unfortunately. Her TikTok she posted back in March with Ice Spice and Charli xcx matches the lyrics of the chorus. Add in the fact that none of the katycats who attended the listening party are denying that it’s real makes me like 99% sure it’s legit.
Surely with three weeks until release there is time for damage control…

She’s a huge troll. I’m not sure why no one thinks she’s capable of fooling everyone. IMO, she’s never released a bad lead, and Smile was great, so I wholeheartedly believe she’s just creating controversy and buzz to create a stir and it’s clearly working. If her manager said it’s fake then what benefit would that give him to lie on the internet about it? The cover is AI. The snippet and leaks are AI. She was a judge for 7 fucking years on AI. It’s all AI. |
