Yes rappers ‘dissing’ each other acting like they’re still in high school is the ultimate cheese. A cringy rap battle between 2 supposed grown men. Lmao. Bro, this is what rap beef is all about. Just look at some of the other infamous rap beefs like Pac vs Biggie, 50 vs Ja Rule, or even Eminem's several feuds from the 2000s. Hip hop has always been a competitive sport, and it's clear that the fans of the genre wanted this. Rape is also usually about control and pleasure, doesn't make it good. And homophobia has been rooted in hip hop for decades, doesn't make it good. Just because something "is about" something, doesn't make its existence not cringey or childish.

We have confirmation it's not Drake; I'm holding out hope for whoever's involved recovers. No one should be dying over beef in 2024.

Hip hop has always been a competitive sport, and it's clear that the fans of the genre wanted this. I get it but they’re almost 40 years old. Just weird to me. And it’s all manufactured for sales. I’d guess they both discussed all this before writing / releasing these songs. YOU THINK THIS IS MANUFACTURED FOR SALES? SOMEONE IS NOT PAYING ATTENTION…

This is definitely the music event of the year, and possibly decade. We are gonna see references to this at every single music event, award show, etc. for the next year.
If what Drake said is true and Kendrick has an album coming, I can see it doing huge numbers off of this beef alone.

As a fan, I love it... but crazy to me that Morgan Wallen is occupying 10% of AM's Top 100, and that's including probably about 20 Taylor songs still hanging in that range from TTPD. It's not Apple Music, but I had no idea none of his songs have cleared 1 billion Spotify streams. Last Night will for sure reach a billion within a year. I mean, at the end of the day he's a country act. Country artists are lucky if they're popular in the US, Canada, UK and Australia. Most "popular" country acts will have around 10-12M Spotify monthly listeners. There's very few that exceed 20M... I think Luke Combs, Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen are some of the few. I'm sure his collaboration with Post Malone will open some doors in other countries for him, but unless Country becomes more of a global genre, I don't think that'll change much.

Sure, but a few of his songs got significant play outside of country radio, and one of them was the year end #1 last year. I was just surprised when I saw none of his songs are over 1 billion streams on Spotify. None are even over 900 million. Zach Bryan's "Something in the Orange" essentially has as many Spotify streams as any Morgan Wallen song. I don't think anyone would have thought that without looking. Obviously Wallen has solid, consistent streaming. Just saying I was surprised.

Dear rappers keep Mariah songs out referencing each other. Megan fine. Drake Touch My Body reference was disgusting.
The legendary MC never asked to be used in diss over molestation

Hoping there's a mass buying event for Hind's Hall, especially since all funds go to UNRWA.

But you see, that's the main thing that concerns me about these rap beefs, that they often extend into real life and people sometimes do end up dying over them (in addition to them partly being manufactured for sales). This, in a way, is indeed childish, and no one should be rooting them on for it.
Also, on the topic of Taylor Swift "flopping," I believe the person who originally brought the topic up referred to the album and singles as lacking "longevity" and being "frontloaded," which can be completely different from "floppage" and "underperforming," so I don't know how the last page turned into a long discussion about that lol.

Taylor Swift did not flop whatsoever lol. TTPD was very frontloaded however.

Never would have thought Kendrick would have 4 songs top 10 in one week.

Love a busy chart!! When was the last time a song had 400+ points and didn’t go number one? Rich Flex against Anti-Hero's 3rd week. Earlier, it was good 4 u's second week against Butter (excluding Xmas, as AIWFCIY was over 400 and #2 at the beginning of this year)

Do we think "meet the grahams" is making it into the top 10? I know that prediction there only says number 12. Its' YouTube views were crazy, I remember it had gotten ahead of the whole "FAMILY MATTERS" video fairly quick. But it is the opposite of a pop-appealing type of song, so I get it.
