BUBBLING UNDER#1. Zach Bryan - Revival (+5) At 40 weeks, Revival has to be coming for the record for longest Bubbling Under stay, correct? Probably longest run to #1 too?

I mean they have gotten really good at knowing the formula. It's usually the rounding errors and limited data they have access to that makes them not be 100% reliable. I wonder if Billboard is gonna pursue some legal action at some point again. Yeah but to so accurately predict radio impressions, sales, and streams without all of the actual data is pretty impressive. Meanwhile "Lovin' On Me" has only been on the Hot 100 for 28 weeks. It's wild it feels old when its chart run has been relatively short for the streaming era.

A couple weeks ago during the Kendrick-Drake debacle I saw Todd In The Shadows tweeting about hearing Lovin' On Me on the radio and thinking "what a throwback," because of how fast the Hot 100 switched up. The past 2 years have been so slow for the charts with long runs for songs that in February it was a real thought that Lovin' On Me would still be Top 10 in June.
Funny enough it's probably gonna be the biggest hit of the year according to Billboard because of the chart year starting in October, even though I'm not sure anyone is gonna be thinking about in December, let alone looking back and thinking of it as the biggest hit of 2024.

One could always see something like Lose Control end up with the top spot. Let's not judge the YE before it happens.

Lovin' On Me was released on November 10, so the changing of the chart year to October didn't affect it. To me it seems like a late 2023/early 2024 hit, and with 23 weeks in the top 10 and still at #21 in its 28th week, that's still some decent longevity.
