If this album doesn't make the same kind of impact and success that IOP had, then we're leaving her in 2023. I think you're setting your expectations for Ice way too high then lmao. Also the two users clowning Ice must be so fun at parties. I'm not "clowning" her in general, just that specific song, regardless of intention was just horrible and embarrassing. It was truly one of the worst songs I've heard in recent years. I don't mind her, and like a few songs and will even check out her album but there are ways to have fun, not be taken seriously and not make a song like that, it was just bizarre and the reception of the song obviously and accurately reflected that

Am I the only one who found the automatic #1 giving to “I Had Some Help” and continued claim of #1 on the Hot 100 to be disgusting? I mean we can see the numbers and clearly see it has hardly ever been the top streaming song on either Spotify or Apple Music but because the instant it came out it got top radio play and I guess that combined with its generally large streams is enough to just hold #1? In this climate? Am I the only one who sees how blatant this is? And it just so happens to be.. well, the type of song that it is with the artists on it pushing something, I won’t get into all that. Basically, I understand that mostly everyone attempts to manipulate the charts in some way - but I’m saying this one looks more like big brother made sure to push their status quo in all facets of life including music. Perhaps by means of instant radio dominance and singles solid sales that will allow the math to show it as number 1, oh I’m sure, but I just question the integrity of its radio play and general success. i agree. two of the absolute biggest artists of the last decade released a collab and it did huge numbers immediately? that reeks of manipulation.

It's #2 on the latest Streaming Songs chart and was #2 the previous week as well. I understand your general sentiment that radio quickly welcomed this one when it doesn't done the same for many other artists, but the reality is the song is also streaming very well. Your post would carry more weight if the song was #8 in streaming or something, but that's not the case here. What are you saying deserves to be #1?

Not sure why she's putting out a new single so soon. I do like the sound of it though (as much as I can gather from that snippet).

Kinda hate the trend of taking unflattering pictures from a side of pop lady and arguing that she seems pregnant. Just saw some pics of Taylor trying to argue she's pregnant as well. It's so dumb. Well you're not the only one

That’s my thoughts on it Yeah most likely and I don't see it causing espresso to lose steam but I would've waited a month since it may get lost in the shuffle since radio hasn't even totally dropped Feather yet

Yeah feels too soon for Sabrina to release a new song. The general public will bop to Espresso for additional two months at least.

Could just be a promo single with a video to build hype for the album and pre-order. We'll see if it’s pushed to radio.

Not sure why she's putting out a new single so soon. I do like the sound of it though (as much as I can gather from that snippet). Because she’s smartly playing the long game of building an artistic identity through a continuous drip of material. This will help solidify her spot as a main pop girl, rather than putting all her eggs into one basket/single.

Worst case, the song flops and Espresso continues on with its momentum. Best case, it doesn't flop and it becomes another hit for her. It's a move with a lot of upside and it's the smart thing to do right now.

It would've only had an impact for a week or two at max. Eminem seems to be an outlier.

Music videos as a whole I don't feel like do as much any more lol at least not what they used to be obviously
Does anyone know or track music video stats anymore? I still was curious for like a 1 week view tracker to see how Eminem is doing as I'm assuming it is one of the biggest sans Taylor and BTS in quite some time ?

This is one of the stupidest posts I've ever read because IHSH literally went #1 on the streaming songs chart and is still #2, #1 on the sales chart and is still #2, and is #5 on radio at the moment. This has great stats in all three categories and it makes sense it's #1 because all of those strong placements on each metric add up to a big #1 hit. And what's even crazier with this post is I Had Some Help also reached #1 on US Spotify and US Apple Music. So not only did you write two paragraphs of nonsense, but none of it is actually correct!

OK GUYS, BUT WHAT DON'T YOU GET? I HAD SOME HELP IS #5 ON RADIO #2 ON STREAMING AND #2 ON SALES. 5+2+2 = 9. 9/3 = 3. SO IT SHOULD BE #3 ON THE HOT 100, NOT #1. IF MORGAN HAS MONEY TO PUT A BAR IN NASHVILLE, HE HAS MONEY FOR PAYOLA. BILLBOARD RIGGING ITS FORMULA FOR HIM AND POST.

I do understand this post to some extent. If it didn't have such massive radio support from the get-go, "I Had Some Help" wouldn't top the Hot 100 these couple of weeks and that "Not Like Us" could've had more weeks at #1. That being said, it's not like it's still not doing very well on streaming, and with NLU declining on that metric, there's a decent chance IHSH will return to and remain at #1 on streaming in the weeks to come, assuming it's able to fend off Tommy Richman and Eminem.

This is a reasonable response! You are likely correct. I wish others would not resort to just calling me "stupid" especially because I thought that was against the rules but I digress.

What does this even mean? It's against the rules for a song to have a radio deal?

As well it is a repeat offense as you previously called me an "absolute loser" on a different occasion hardly a month ago.

Okay so you're not willing to engage in a conversation, instead post the rules of the board for which you are not a staff member on for a reason that did not happen. I never called YOU stupid. If you feel I personally attacked you, feel free to report me and move on. I will be moving on myself.
