• Looks like Tommy Richman's gonna get that second hit. I always find it so curious when people write artists off as one-hit wonders before they've released another song. Really happy for him, he's got such a unique sound.
• "Good Luck, Babe!" is aiming for "Smells Like Teen Spirit" level of cultural impact and I'm not even joking. It's the summer of Sabrina, Charli, and Chappell.
  
• Post's country pivot has been a long time in the making and it makes so much sense. I feel like him, Jelly Roll, and Koe Wetzel occupy a similar space of genre-bending country. Although I'm not a fan of the Morgan song, I'm glad Posty is expanding his reach beyond pop.

I mean he’s an American and America’s the biggest music market (culturally at least, probably economically too).

His career was dead before this, now he’s the song of the summer in America, a massive album, and country singers have insane longevity (see Blake Shelton almost going Top 10 this week despite debuting on the Hot 100 23 years ago)

I think it's too early to tell if the album is going to be massive or not.

I think "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is pretty overrated in its influence, and even so I have to agree here as what influence are people expecting "Babe" to have?
