Rainbow Connection is so good. IDC that it's sung by a Muppet.
Good Girls Don't is really bad, as someone who enjoys My Sharona, I can't stand that one.

40. Dance The Night Away - Van HalenDown to 6 Rock jams. This one is good, but it needs more David Lee Roth screamin' 39. Time Passages - Al StewartFinally. It does have that Rupert Holmes/Robbie Dupree vibe I like, but I really found this guys vocal tones annoying to the point of unlistenable. Tank cleared. 38. Y.M.C.A. - The Village PeopleVery fun song. Classic Disco. This one and "Macho Man" are my favs from these guys. You don't realize the lyrics are a double meaning until you come of age. Do you still sing along? F U C K yeah you do. 37. Disco Nights (Rock-Freak) - GQI always found the bassline to be quite aggressive. probably filled up the Disco floor back in the day. 36. My Life - Billy JoelThis one is alright. The piano melody sounds like it could be used in 70's T.V. show theme song. It also feels very Paul McCartney pop. 35. Rise - Herb AlpertI don't recall this on the radio ever, but I recall my Mom loved it. 34. A Little More Love - Olivia Newton-JohnCan't believe I lost this top 10. Or that we lost her way too soon. Pop rock at its finest. "Magic" was born from this song. can't stress how much I love females with super high vocals. BTW My top 10 is toast. 33. The Gambler - Kenny Rogers Probably the one song from his I know best. It's alright. 32. The Boss - Diana RossI spread out her songs as well. This one is not as memorable to me as her bigger hits. 31. Fire - The Pointer SistersWritten by Bruce Springsteen. Love the 60 degree turn they did with this one. Very sultry, and I love songs with "fire" in the title. You haven't heard anything yet, until you hear Robin Williams sing it as Elmer Fudd. EXTRAS:Rainbow Connection - Kermit The FrogProbably the first and last time we got a puppet frog get a hit the Top 40. Good Girls Don't - The KnackMore songs from this band about gals doing things they shouldn't. I love it. I was really drawn to the Britpop style of this song as well. Made my top 30 of 1979.

Nice that all the Donna Summer songs made the top 25 but I don't think that this should have been the first one out from her even though I have her lowest ranked song ranked high too, just slightly lower than this.
