I Remember Everything’s streaming longevity is actually absurd. Must be the most successful radio flop ever at this point… Was it even pushed to radio?

I support and agree with the argument that Drake will do much better with his album but at this point it's been several "this is just a single for the fans" releases in a row with bad numbers so... how much better an album can do we'll see.
Honestly if I was Drake I'd branch out with new collaborators and try something new and fresh. A creative renaissance is the perfect setup to get fans back on his side.

He got his collab album with PARTYNEXTDOOR probably coming out within the next two months, so we’ll see whether he’s really finished or not.

It was another satisfying week with Sabrina as Short N' Sweet has a good second week drop and Taste stays on top for the second week in a row. The third hit single from the Disney start was only down 11.27%. Die With A Smile reaches a new peak of #2 but also saw a drop of 14.36% meaning it might be parked in second for a couple weeks. Please Pleas Please drops to #3 with a sizable loss of 25.02%. Who bounced back to #4 with a controversial gain of 3.13%. Espresso falls down to #5 with a 20.13% decline while Bed Chem was actually up a spot as it was only down 8.1%.
As I said, Short N' Sweet got a good second weekend but not without its harsh drops. Among them, Good Graces having a harsh drop of 30.36%, Slim Pickins falling 38.25%, Coincidence sliding back 34.47%, Sharpest Tool with a 38.13% decrease, and Juno only losing 29.51% of its streams. All in all, Short N' Sweet still managed to get 106M in its second week, the second best week 2 for an album this year, only beaten by The Tortured Poets Department
Post Malone continues to see a lack of longevity for this songs not called 'I Had Some Help' as Guy For That was down 15.45%, Wrong Ones crashed 24.23% in streams and Pour Me A Drink fell by 20.4%. LOS CUADROS saw a dip of 10.93% with Peso Pluma and Tito Double P releasing a second single.
It was a slow week of debuts with Surf Curse having a second song viral after Freaks a few years ago. LE SSERAFIM's newest single debuted in the Top 100, above the two new Drake songs and A$AP Rocky' newest song. And we have a third Kid LAROI song get traction off the back of his new deluxe release.

While I agree with the 2nd part of this, the first part doesn't make any sense. He hasn't launched anything to actually be "For the charts" since the beef happened. It is just for the fans, they are random leftovers and leaks etc. And for what they are, they still did better than many other singles that got higher pushes from other artists. Not sure why people keep bringing this up. Let's see what happens when he drops an actual album with a video and actual single to radio.

He got his collab album with PARTYNEXTDOOR probably coming out within the next two months, so we’ll see whether he’s really finished or not. PND is one of the best (worst?) examples of chart poison I've ever seen. Remember when he got Rihanna's first song in ages and got it to flop? Yeah, I bet no one does. I know Drake is friends/mentors him, which is why they work together so often, but I expect to see "this isn't a proper Drake album" claims when it inevitably does lower than usual numbers.

Morgan Wallen Helps Lead Country Genre to Second Straight Song of the Summer One-Two Punch The country genre hadn't taken the summertime title since 1974. Now, it's had the top two songs for two years in a row. BY STEVE KNOPPERUUntil Morgan Wallen showed up on country radio, the genre hadn’t spawned a No. 1 hit on Billboard‘s Songs of the Summer chart since John Denver‘s “Annie’s Song” in 1974. But this year, Wallen’s collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” hit No. 1, while Shaboozey‘s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” took No. 2. That follows last summer, when Wallen’s “Last Night” and Luke Combs‘ cover of Tracy Chapman‘s “Fast Car” topped the chart. “It feels good to know there’s this much quality coming out of Nashville,” says Steve Stewart, director of country content for broadcast chain Cox Media Group. “There’s a great model that’s already been built and thriving, which is why so many artists from other formats have moved to Nashville.” “I Had Some Help” and “A Bar Song” took dramatically different roads to summer dominance. The former involved two megastars, one known for pop and hip-hop, the other a country fixture for years, joining for Post Malone’s long-awaited dip into the genre. The latter seemed to come out of nowhere, from a Nigerian-American singer-songwriter from Virginia who had put out two albums before Beyoncé collaborated with him on “Spaghettii” and “Sweet Honey Buckiin” earlier this year. Black artists have historically struggled to break into country music, but Shaboozey, who records for EMPIRE, a label most known for hip-hop, may have finally cracked the code and positioned himself for longterm commercial success. “The power of great songs override everything,” says Tim Roberts, vp of programming and format captain for No. 2 broadcast chain Audacy. “Does it open more doors? Why wouldn’t it?” Adds Scott Donato, program director and operations manager at WGTY, a country station in York, Pa.: “He has an opportunity to continue this with multiple singles. I’m looking forward to seeing what he’s got next.” The advanced chart metrics, in certain ways, suggest “A Bar Song” was even more dominant than the Post Malone-Wallen collaboration. Shaboozey’s smash topped the Hot 100 for eight weeks throughout the summer, while “I Had Some Help” led the list for just six weeks. But not everybody in country radio is convinced “A Bar Song” fits the format, given its interpolation of J-Kwon‘s 2001 hip-hop hit “Tipsy.” “I don’t think you can argue that Shaboozey song is the biggest song of the summer, in any genre,” says Nate Deaton, general manager of KRTY.com, an online country station in Los Gatos, Calif. “It’s everything a song should be — except country. This whole concept of country evolving into a melting pot, for lack of a better word, of genres, is an interesting phenomenon. I don’t know if it lasts.” Country radio has never been a format known for diversity or risk. But as radio ratings decline in general during the streaming era, the genre is one of the few retaining reliable listeners and hit-making clout. “Country absolutely can keep it going,” says Randy Chase, executive vp of programming for Summit Media, a radio chain in Birmingham, Ala., that owns several country stations. “This is all about being aggressive. Country [radio] needs to move faster — I’ve said that for years. The big difference between country and Top 40, adult contemporary and rhythmic is the amount of music the industry is pumping out. It is still a firehose of music, while in the other formats, the faucet is just trickling.”

"A Bar Song (Tipsy)" furthers 2024's longest reign, while Carpenter claims another feat previously achieved only by The Beatles.
Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” hoists a ninth nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, extending 2024’s longest rule. The hit became the singer-songwriter’s first leader on the chart in July.
“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” likewise furthers the longest domination this year on the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart, adding a 13th week at No. 1.
Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter logs three songs in the Hot 100’s top five for a second consecutive week, as “Espresso” returns to its No. 3 best, from No. 4; “Please Please Please” dips 3-4, after it became her first No. 1 in June; and “Taste” falls 2-5 in its second week.
All three songs are from Carpenter’s new album, Short n’ Sweet, which scores a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Notably, as Carpenter’s three songs mark her first three top five Hot 100 hits, she becomes only the second act – and first soloist – ever to chart three initial top five hits in the region simultaneously in multiple weeks. She joins only The Beatles, who first achieved such a triple over five weeks in 1964, with “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “She Loves You” and “Please Please Me.” (No other act has charted three first top five hits in the region simultaneously for even one week.) The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. All charts (dated Sept. 14, 2024) will update on Billboard.com Tuesday, Sept. 10. For all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram. Luminate, the independent data provider to the Billboard charts, completes a thorough review of all data submissions used in compiling the weekly chart rankings. Luminate reviews and authenticates data. In partnership with Billboard, data deemed suspicious or unverifiable is removed, using established criteria, before final chart calculations are made and published. ‘Tipsy’ Top Shelf in Airplay, Sales “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” on American Dogwood/EMPIRE (with country radio promotion by Magnolia Music), totaled 77.9 million radio airplay audience impressions (down 5%), 29.8 million official streams (down 6%) and 10,000 sold (down 10%) in the United States Aug. 30-Sept. 5. The track holds for a 13th week at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart and a sixth week at No. 1 on Radio Songs and rebounds 5-3 on Streaming Songs, following five frames on top. Most Weeks at No. 1 on Hot 100 in 2024 “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” extends the longest Hot 100 rule this year. Here’s a look at the songs that have led for multiple weeks since January: 9 weeks, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Shaboozey, beginning July 13 6 weeks, “I Had Some Help,” Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen, beginning May 25 *5 weeks, “Lovin On Me,” Jack Harlow (*6 total weeks at No. 1, beginning Dec. 2, 2023) 3 weeks, “Like That,” Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar, beginning April 6 2 weeks, “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar, beginning May 18 2 weeks, “Fortnight,” Taylor Swift feat. Post Malone, beginning May 4 2 weeks, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Beyoncé, beginning March 2 Carpenter: More ‘Sweet’ Success
Sabrina Carpenter charts three songs in the Hot 100’s top five, all from her new album, Short n’ Sweet, for a second consecutive week: “Espresso” returns to its No. 3 high, from No. 4; former leader “Please Please Please” backtracks 3-4; and “Taste” drops 2-5 in its second week.
As the tracks mark Carpenter’s first three top five Hot 100 hits, she becomes only the second act – and first soloist – ever to chart three initial top five hits in the region simultaneously for multiple weeks. The Beatles are the only other act to achieve the feat even once, having done so over five weeks in 1964.
Here’s a recap of Carpenter’s two weeks earning the honor and each week in which The Beatles charted their first three or more top five Hot 100 hits in the top five simultaneously.
Sabrina Carpenter
Sept. 7, 2024: No. 2, “Taste” / No. 3, “Please Please Please” / No. 4, “Espresso” Sept. 14, 2024: No. 3, “Espresso” / No. 4, “Please Please Please” / No. 5, “Taste”

Rest of the Top 10: 'I Had Some Help' & More
Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, rebounds 5-2 on the Hot 100, following six weeks at No. 1 beginning upon its debut in May.
Below Carpenter’s trio of titles on the Hot 100, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” repeats at No. 6, two weeks after it debuted at No. 3. It wins the chart’s top Airplay Gainer award, up 37% to 23 million in radio audience.
Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” holds in formation at No. 7 on the Hot 100, after reaching No. 5. It leads the multimetric Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Alternative Songs charts for a fifth week each.
Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” is steady at No. 8 on the Hot 100, after hitting No. 6, and
Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” which led the Hot 100 for a week in March, lifts 10-9. The latter also ties for the eighth-most weeks logged in the top 10 over the chart’s history:
57 weeks, “Blinding Lights,” The Weeknd, 2020-21 44, “Stay,” The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber, 2021-22 41, “Last Night,” Morgan Wallen, 2023-24 41, “Levitating,” Dua Lipa, 2021 39, “Circles,” Post Malone, 2019-20 38, “As It Was,” Harry Styles, 2022-23 37, “Heat Waves,” Glass Animals, 2021-22 34, “Lose Control,” Teddy Swims, 2024 34, “Cruel Summer,” Taylor Swift, 2023-24 33, “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse),” Post Malone & Swae Lee, 2018-19 33, “Girls Like You,” Maroon 5 feat. Cardi B, 2018-19 33, “Shape of You,” Ed Sheeran, 2017
Rounding out the Hot 100’s top 10, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” descends 9-10, following two weeks at No. 1, as it commands the multimetric Hot Rap Songs chart for a 17th week and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a 15th week.

Does anyone here tally up the "units" for the songs on the Hot 100? I've never seen a YID list. I think Flowers was #1 last year with 7+ million units. Thanks.

^You can get @totc units for the Billboard chart year in its Year-End Hot 100 YTD chart. It will continue to accumulate "units" as long as the song continue to chart in the Hot 100.

Thanks again for the updates, Baby Yoda Hot100Fan . "I Had Some Help" has now spent 15 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100's top two (6 weeks at No. 1, 9 weeks at No. 2). It's the second song by both artists to achieve this feat after "rockstar" (15 weeks in 2017-18) and "Last Night" (21 weeks in 2023) respectively. Post and Wallen join Justin Bieber ("Despacito", 17 weeks in 2017 and "STAY", 21 weeks in 2021-22) and Boyz II Men ("I'll Make Love to You", 15 weeks in 1994 and "One Sweet Day", 16 weeks in 1995-96) as the other artists with 2 songs to spend 15+ weeks in the Hot 100's top two positions. The only artist in Billboard Hot 100 history with more songs to have spent at least 15+ weeks in the top two is Mariah Carey, with 3: the aforementioned "One Sweet Day" (16 weeks, in 1995-96), "We Belong Together" (16 weeks, in 2005) and "All I Want for Christmas Is You" (21 weeks, since first topping the Hot 100 in 2019 to the end of the Christmas season earlier in 2024).

Teddy Swims needs to seriously GTFO. most of this top 10 needs an ASAP refresh. most of the songs have spent 12+ weeks already in top 10
