For better or worse, Gwen has lost the cool factor that has kept her early to mid 00s contemporaries semi-relevant. there's nothing wrong with it, but i dont think anybody should be expecting a major mainstream comeback from her at this point. She can still have success in the AC/HAC lane

I really like it. Mixture of pop/rock/and a tiny bit of country influence, but not twangy enough to turn a pop listener away. Very AC friendly. Ugh I definitely wouldn't mind if this was a hit on some format. Hope it get some love.

She should really put some effort into the era if she’s making a switch in sound, and hopes to make something out of the remainder of her music career. It’s not that common. The last time we had a song to top 10 at hot AC without pop play (at the time) was with Lewis Capaldi’s “Wish You the Best” last year. “How Do I Say Goodbye” became the first song to hit top 5 at the format without CHR play since Weezer’s “Africa” in 2018.
