Latest single from Morgan Wallen called "Love Somebody", which goes for Country and Pop adds upon its release. This means that the impact date is on 10/21 in the former and 10/22 in the latter.

Idk, I just simply can’t handle his voice, I find it to be such a cringey redneck/hillbilly stereotype. Honestly annoys me he’s been able to have so much pop success when arguably no other truly twangy sounding country singer ever has, when there are so so many infinitely better ones in country past and present.

This will be another big hit for him for sure, and this instrumental shift is definitely nice, but other than it's another average Wallen song. And while i'd take this over another heaping of trap-country, Lies Lies Lies is better tbh.

Which means this is probably spending 12 weeks at #1.

Same problem as last night. Too linear and flat but catchy. Don't think jesus is much better and yet it wasn't as successful. This is why his label pushes for more pop songs. Another mediocre phoned-in piece of schlock from him. Of course it’ll be #1 for months because the bare minimum is rewarded for white male country singers. The one compliment I can find is that his grating nasally tone is a bit better here.

I heard I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight first, but I also hear the Training Season in this. But anyways, this is probably the best thing he's put out since... 7 Summers, actually. If he's gonna be #1 then I'm glad it's with this
