You're making quite an impression here. Of the new singles, Audioslave is boring, Coldplay sucks because U2 sucks, and NIN is terrible. Is there a bearable song on the chart at the moment? I'm waiting to be enlightened. Hmm... let me check: Queens Of The Stone Age - Little Sister (Nice little song. Not one of their best, but it's catchy). Green Day - Holiday ( Don't normally like them, but this is an amazing tune). Mars Volta - The Widow (I'll Never Sleep Alone) (Alright tune, easily the worst on the record.. and obviously created with the sole goal of permeating radio.. but it's bearable) Garbage - Why Do You Love Me (still think it's a bit boring, but it's grown on me significantly. I still don't understand how they went from "Milk" to this. Meh) Interpol - Evil (Excellent band, nice tune. Far from their best, but that's not what radio is about anyway). System Of A Down - Cigaro (nice quirky tune. I've always liked these guys) Kasabian - Club Foot (Definite Stone Roses pastiche, but I like the Stone Roses, so they're okay by me) Tegan & Sara - Walking With A Ghost (a bit generic, but it isn't particularly offensive, so I guess it qualifies as 'bearable'). And, for the record, I really couldn't give two shits about what kind of "impression" I'm making. I'm entitled to my opinions and, being as this is a discussion forum, I'm entitled to express them.

Yeah, you have some strong opinions, and I don't have any problem with you, but if those are the only songs on the chart that you can tolerate to any extent at all, I'm not sure exactly why you'd be interested in posting here much.
I mean I can find more than that many songs on the pop chart I can say something nice about, but I hardly ever say a peep in there. It's just not worth my time.

Well, I've been lurking around these boards since they used to be the official R&R boards, mainly for news and links to new singles. Sorry if I come of as hostile, I'm just really opinionated, particularly when it comes to music.

Well that's a pretty cool album cover.
If you go to the official NIN web site, you can see the music video for "The Hand That Feeds".
Also, it is reported that there are dates for listening parties of the album on the web site.
I was not surprised how quickly a lot of those tickets have sold out. I remember trying to get Austin tickets approx. 2 hours after the tickets went on sale, and lucky for me, it already was a sold out event.

The song reached to #3 at the playlist What's New by the Los Angeles radio station KROQ 106.7FM.

"The Hand That Feeds" is already #6 at Alternative. It's also the greatest gainer and should have no problem making it to atleast #2. I think that might make it NIN's biggest Alternative hit ever. Did NIN have any #1's?

Did NIN have any #1's? Not on Billboard. In fact, their only top ten was 'Hurt', which peaked at #8. I can't imagine the R&R figures deviated much.

"Hurt" hit #7 and "Perfect Drug" hit #9 on R&R. "We're In This Together" and "Into the Void" hit #11. "Deep" hit #16.

They went onsale at 5. He got home from work at 5:30. Both shows were already sold out. In fact, he was lucky to get 4 tickets to the Velvet Revolver show in St. Louis last May. It would've been sold out if an online order hadn't fallen through while he was at the box office window. I don't think that was even 45 minutes. I know Trent didn't want to overestimate his audience at first (*ahem* Incubus last summer), but come on.

you need Kazaa version 2.6 and above to download it. but it's really fucking hard to do it...on this link bitzi.com/search/?keywords=nine+inch+nails+with+teeth+sunspots you can find a songs from with teeth.they r with teeth, sunspots, all the love in the world, the line begins to blur, getting smaller and beside you in time. I'm not sure the songs are official and i can't guarantee their quality....but try it!:]

Does this song have crossover potential or is it too dark for pop?
To me, this song has the same feel musically as The Killers' Somebody Told Me.
Can it get a significant amount of airplay?

NINE INCH NAILS The Hand That Feeds Producer(s): Trent Reznor, Alan Moulder Writer(s): T. Reznor Publisher(s): not listed Genre: ROCK Label/Catalog Number: Interscope INTR-11381 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: April 02, 2005
This first glimpse of Nine Inch Nails' new CD, "With Teeth," is one of the most straight-forward rock songs the band has recorded. Anchored by a simple guitar riff and Trent Reznor's unmistakable vocals, "The Hand That Feeds" almost sounds live, and deceptively less electronic than anything NIN has released in recent years. Add in an '80s-sounding keyboard solo and Reznor's wonderfully intense delivery, and the result should be a top five song at modern rock. In this issue, the title debuts at No. 8 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart—which matches the band's highest notch on that list. "The Hand That Feeds" is poised to become the biggest single of NIN's career. Sure, some purists will claim that it is too commercial. But this will be supplanted by new fans that may have been in diapers during the band's early- to mid-'90s heyday. Expect big things for "With Teeth," due in May.—BT
