This is #1 on iTunes. It should have a pretty big Hot 100 debut.

Their best chance to hit the pop stations of their carrier. No, I think that would've been "Closer".

No, I think that would've been "Closer". I'm not sure about that. I see that "Closer" was a little boring for the pop airplay. But anyway, we will see in some months

Hey all, dig it I actually found a guy offering a download of a Promo pack, with clips of ALL the songs from With Teeth, as well as three FULL songs, the ACTUAL album version of The Hand That Feeds, not the crappy radio rip, the full version of The Line Begins to Blur, and the full version of Getting Smaller. The download is a 17.7MB Zip file with MP3's. Enjoy! right-thoughts.us/index.php/weblog/the_saturday_share_3_19_05/Now for the spoiler... um... so far, I'm not really liking what I'm hearing so much :( And I'm a HUGE NIN fan, will be seeing them in concert in may, and have almost every official halo from them, as well as the live DVD and the older two VHS tape Closure... huge fan and as a matter of fact Trent has greatly inspired me with my own music (which you can check out here: www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?songs=14717&T=1069 .... sorry if this is too shameless of a plug anyways check out my page if you're a NIN fan you'll definately hear the influence and I even covered one of Trent's songs). Anyways, just from what I'm hearing, the three full songs and then the clips of the others... it seems this album will easily be my least favorite NIN album by far... and nowhere NEAR as good as The Fragile (best... thematic... album... ever). Well... anyways check it out for yourself and hopefully you all will like it better than I do...

I'm not sure about that. I see that "Closer" was a little boring for the pop airplay. But anyway, we will see in some months Boring? "Closer" was quite catchy, but Trent said himself that the lyrics were what held the song back from being a flat-out pop song.

That's funny, because I think the lyrics to "Closer" and the controversy surrounding them are exactly the reason how it could have been a pop hit. Heck, I think it'd hit the pop chart if it was just being released now. I mean, the open house party was playing it every week.

'HAND' ON THE RUN
The first Nine Inch Nails song to chart in almost six years is the Hot Shot Debut on Billboard's Hot 100. "The Hand That Feeds" (Nothing/Interscope) bows at No. 31, the second highest debut of 2005 after the No. 22 opening of the multi-artist charity single, "Across the Universe."
"The Hand That Feeds" is also the second highest debut when it comes to Nine Inch Nails' chart career. The record was set by "The Day the World Went Away" in August 1999. By debuting and peaking at No. 17, "World" became the highest-charting Nine Inch Nails single of all time. "Hand" is second, and the only other track of five chart entries to appear in the top 40 portion of the list.

It's you losers who download low-quality music files that call for extra security measures like that one.

You don't even have to buy it anyway. You can get it from multiple places for free. That guy trying to sell it isn't very smart if that's what he's even doing...
But seriously, if anyone wants the CD you should buy it. I've downloaded the songs from this, but I intend to buy this album.

Maybe their host won't allow mp3s... Besides, it'd be easier to download it all at once then to choose each one.

Yeah, the Home track is featured on the The Hand That Feeds 9" VINYL BOX SET that's only available in the UK. Of course, you can buy it from Amazon.com or other places. Or get it for free on www.isohunt.com using bittorrent clients. It'll be the 15MB VINYL when you enter in "The Hand That Feeds" on the search. It's sounds pretty cool. I like it.

I thought some people might want to hear this... it was the first opportunity for me personally to hear a sampling of the new album... I didn't know the full album was already floating around. Anyways it didn't bother me downloading one zip with a bunch of clips in it really not sure what you're problem is. I see at least one person checked out the link to my own music :) Hope you liked it!

ugh... this really sucks about Home... so far this is the best song I've heard from the new album, yet it wont be on the CD when it comes to the US? How weak is that?? And I checked that link... you can LISTEN to the song but can't right click to download it... f'ing sux... I'm going to weep :(

a little more news though maybe this isn't news to anyone... there is a bootleg floating around of the US Davis concert that NIN played on Mar 24.... well thats the only one I've found anyways...
I have to say, for a bootleg, the sound quality is surprisingly clean, the crowd noise is minimal, Trents singing is very clear and understandable, and all the sounds of the different instruments are discernable and come thru pretty clear.... this bootleg is just shy of, say, the sound quality of NIN's own live album release a couple years ago from the Fragile tour. Very worth getting if your'e at all interested.
