I was pondering this during work last night. Because I bring a portable cd player to work so on break I don't have to hear the hens cackle. And I brought a few mixed cd's I had burned and found some songs for some reason or another never made my chart eventhough i really like them.
1: Blaque / Missy - "Ugly" I really love this song it is just too funny. Not sure why I never charted it. Must of slipped under the radar.
2: Timbaland & Magoo / Missy - Cop That S*i* This song is awesome. I love Timbaland. When you get Missy and T you can't go wrong. I just never really listen to this song a lot. It is still on my current playlist but it gets skipped over alot. Plus now "Indian Flute" was released as the follow up to radio.
3: Outkast - BOB In my opinion one of the best Outkast singles. I saw the video all the time on MTV but I didn't ever download the mp3 or buy "Stankonia" so the MTV exposure was the only source for me to hear this song. As a result it never made my chart.
There are other examples but I am too tired to think of them.

I've got lots of songs that I either missed when they were first released, or just plain forgot to chart. Off the top of my head:
Ludacris - Southern Hospitality OutKast - B.O.B. Hoobastank - Crawling In The Dark QB Finest - Oochie Wally
I'll add more as I remember them...

But it did manage to peak at # 22.

There have been plenty, most of which were from my chart's top 40 days. Bryan Adams "Inside Out" comes to mind, for example.

The best of the rest:
Adema - Giving In Audiovent - Looking Down Better Than Ezra - Extra Ordinary Black Label Society - Stillborn Crystal Method - Name of the Game Dixie Chicks - Travelin' Soldier Earshot - Not Afraid Finch - Letters to You (didn't hear it until it was way off the chart though) Jay-Z f/Pharrell - Excuse Me Miss Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American (see Finch) Lil' Kim - The Jump Off Lostprophets - Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja Ludacris - Saturday (Ooh! Oooh!) P.O.D. - Boom Socialburn - Down Sparta - Air Styles - Daddy Get That Cash Tenacious D - Wonderboy (only started liking it after "Tribute") The Exies - Kickout Theory of a Deadman - Nothing Could Come Between Us Vex Red - Can't Smile (I could never figure out if this was a current or recurrent... probably should have charted it anyway)

In addition, these songs that didn't make it out of the 41-50 part of my chart probably deserved better:
Alien Ant Farm - These Days (#42 peak) Mudvayne - Not Falling (#43) Remy Zero - Save Me (#43) Seether - Fine Again (#44) 311 - Amber (#46) Lasgo - Something (#46) Ra - Do You Call My Name (#46) Alien Ant Farm - Attitude (#47 but spent 6 weeks in the top 50) DJ Encore f/Engelina - I See Right Through to You (#47) Offspring - Defy You (#48) (I think I had a bad-quality mp3 of this the whole time I was listening to it) Sheryl Crow - Soak Up the Sun (#48) Earshot - Get Away (#49)

Shania Twain-I'm Gonna Getcha Good(Chart was still a top 10 and would of charted had it been a top 20 at the time)
Alien Ant Farm-These Days(Heard the song after their 2nd single came out)
Blu Cantrell F/Sean Paul-Breathe(Downloaded it over the summer and never could figure out when this officially came out)
There are more but these are the ones I can think of for now.

I was pondering this during work last night. Because I bring a portable cd player to work so on break I don't have to hear the hens cackle. Well, then I think it's a pretty safe guess that "In The Mood" by Henhouse Five Plus Two isn't on the CDs you listen to

I probably should've at least given "Baby Boy" a couple weeks in the lower regions, just so some day I can look back and see that I didn't in fact HATE this song. And I know I still could, but I hate charting songs on their way out.

I have 40 postions but it doesn't seem to be enough anymore. I was thinking about making my chart a top 100 but it would be hard to figure in the songs that have dropped off my top 40 recently.
Here is another song that didn't make my chart but should've
"Pass That Dutch" - I just took this song off my playlist so there is no chance for this song to hit my chart now. It is a good song I like it alot but I like alot of the new music coming out.

Hurt - Johnny Cash
Without a doubt, one of the best singles of '03. It spent over a dozen weeks as a Bubbling Under, but I never gave it a fair chance in the top 40. I really should have.
Blue and Yellow - The Used
Great song, one of the better rock songs of '03. Another one that spent a lot of time as a Bubbling Under, but never made it to the top 40.

'Hurt' made my chart last month because I hated to just pass it by like that. It did only spend two weeks on with a #97 peak but it did make it. I don't keep records of songs that are in my The Max Bound section so those are likely to get forgotton in time but there are tons of songs that make it there that never make my chart. Most of them are Hip-Hop or R&B or Rock songs that I have no real interest in taking a liking too. Mya's song 'Fallen' has been there for 10 weeks and for some reason, I'm not interested in it... or I wasn't until I listened to it today and as a result, I could chart it soon.

There are a few songs out right now that are pretty good songs and would've made my chart. But there is alot of competiton nowadays.
Mya "Fallen"(Sounds way too much like "I'm Glad") Jewel "2 Beomce 1" (Probably would've charted just because it is Jewel) Jessica Simpson "With You" (This is the follow up to her #1 on my chart TSS)
