What streaks ended on your chart in 2003?
Matchbox Twenty Despite having the number one single of the year with "Unwell", "Bright Lights" became the first non-holiday track by MB20 to fail to reach the Top 10 since "Long Day" peaked at #37 in February 1997. Even "Feel" reached #7 in 2003. Part of the reason was a very early add, resulting in a long chart run, but a lower peak of #15. "Bright Lights" did finish the year at #36.
Dixie Chicks The Dixie Chicks failed to chart with a radio released track for the first time since the pre-"Wide Open Spaces" LP. "Godspeed" was on my N&A list for several weeks, but never made the Top 40. And no, it did not have anything to do with Natalie Maines' comments.
Janet Jackson For the first time since 1988, Janet Jackson did not chart during the calendar year. The reason was quite simple: she didn't release anything.
Other acts that failed to chart for the first time included Christina Aguilera ("Can't Hold Us Down") and LeAnn Rimes ("We Can").

Let's see....
Michelle Branch - missed the top 3 for the first time after 5 top 3 hits; "Breathe" peaked at #5.
Creed - had their first miss with "Don't Stop Dancing" after 5 top 50 hits, all of them making the top 10.
3 Doors Down - "Here Without You" missed the top 10 after their first 3 songs to hit my chart all made top 10.
My chart hasn't been around long enough to develop some long streaks, so this is the best I can do.

This is the first year in my chart's existence that no song topped the chart for 8 weeks or more.

Christina Aguilera - after 9 straight top 10 songs, "Can't Hold Us Down" only reached #26
Jennifer Lopez - after 11 straight top 5 songs, "I'm Glad" only reached #22
Those are the most significant I know of.

After 81 consecutive weeks on the chart, when Clipse's "Ma I Don't Love Her" fell off over the spring, Faith Evans's streak ended. She didn't return until "Hurting Woman," a duet with Shirley Caesar, debuted in November.
After three consecutive #1 hits, Jaheim's "Backtight" peaked at #4 in August [or maybe early September], ending the streak.

Aaliyah has been on my chart every week since "We Need A Resolution" debuted in May 2001. When "Come Over" fell off the chart this August, it was the first time Aaliyah hasn't been on the chart since then.
Madonna had her first Top 10 misses, with "American Life" and "Hollywood"
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers had 3 consecutive #1's, but missed the Top 10 with "Dosed" in 2003. Ironically, "Dosed" is my favorite song from the current album... it just didnt get higher because it never really took off much at radio and had no video/promotion.

On the AC Top 50 - Gwen Stefani's streak of consecutive weeks on ended with "Running" in April. It began in February 2001 with "South Side", and, despite several close calls, managed to stay intact until "Running" suffered FSS.
On my Top 20, Avril's streak of consecutive #1s ended when "Things I'll Never Say" was stuck with a #2 peak. (courtesy of "Low" and "So Yesterday")
She also saw her consecutive weeks on streak end when both "Tomorrow" and "Things I'll Never Say" dropped the week of November 15. It began with "Complicated"'s debut on May 18, 2002.

"Feel Good Time" was the first Pink single to miss the top 10 on my chart. Unfortunately, "Trouble" also may miss the top 10. Not due to them not being good, but due to everyone suddenly stopped playing them if that wasn't the case, they would've had no problem reaching the top 10, if not the top 5.
After three straight #1 singles, "God Put A Smile On Your Face" by Coldplay failed to chart. "Moses" might chart either. Again, it's due to a lack of airplay.
Michelle Branch and Pink had consecutive weeks streaks that began in 2001 and ended this year. Those are the only significant ones I know of.

Hmmm, I can't really think of any major streaks this year. I could mention one involving Alanis Morissette in 2003 and her downtime but she also had a downtime year in 2000 or 2001 as well.
I probably had less #1s this year than ever this year? Hmmm, no, I'm not sure of any streaks that ended. LOL

How can anyone streak for that long? Won't they get cold especially during winter?

After hitting the top ten with her first 8 singles P!nk missed the top ten with "Feel Good Time" & "Trouble"
Every single from Mariah has hit the top ten until her duet with JD hit my chart and peaked at #11 ("You Had Your Chance"). "Miss You" has also failed to make the top ten yet.
Those are the only ones I can think of right now.

On the AC chart, Elton John missed having a Top 20 hit since something like 1982.
