I am looking at the statics and two artist have singles off one album span three years. Xtina first hit the top 40 with Dirrty in the end of 2002. She had her greatest succes in 2003 with 4 #1's. This year started off with 2 of her songs being in the top 10
Daniel Bedingfield is another. "Gotta Get Thru This" hit #1 in 2002. In 2003 he released 3 top ten hits and another top 40 hit. In 2004 "I Can't Read You" is on it's way out but "Friday" his final single from GGTT is about to impact my chart in a huge way with the way his spins have been gaining.
Shania would've but I only charted 3 songs from "Come On Over"

Christina's "Stripped" lasted from the debut of "Dirrty" on September 5, 2002 to the last week that "The Voice Within" will spend on, January 8, 2004.
TLC's "Girl Talk" debuted on September 19, 2002. "Turntable" is set to debut on January 15, 2004.

Sarah McLachlan's Surfacing.
I had Building A Mystery at #11 of 1997, and "Angel" in the Top 20 of 1999 plus two singles in between in 1998.
Also Celine Dion, since I charted "To Love You More" in 1998.
Jond - Christina Aguilera only spans 3 calendar years on your chart, not 3 complete years.

On the Pulse 100, Santana's "Why Don't You and I" has spanned three years by itself. f/Chad Kroeger: - 11/26/02: Top 100 debut
- 12/24/02: Peak at #59
- 02/25/03: Last week in top 100
f/Alex Band: - 07/15/03: Top 100 re-entry (debut of Alex Band version)
- 09/23/03: Peak at #11
- 01/07/04: On chart for third year at #62
On my personal chart: Good Charlotte - The Young and the Hopeless: - 10/18/02: "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" debuts
- 01/02/04: "Hold On" on chart at #18
Chevelle - Wonder What's Next: - 10/25/02: "The Red" debuts
- 01/02/04: "Closure" on chart at #27
3 Doors Down - Away From the Sun: - 09/27/02: "When I'm Gone" debuts
- 01/02/04: "Away From the Sun" on chart at #43
Matchbox Twenty - More Than You Think You Are: - 09/27/02: "Disease" debuts
- 01/02/04: "Bright Lights" on chart at #44
Those are just the '02/'03/'04 songs. There are probably a few '01/'02/'03 ones too.

Happens a lot for me, I think. But songs that can span three years is difficult to find. On MT40, 'Claudia' was Top 10 in three different years!
On The Max, most of the above can be considered. Christina, MB20, etc.

I had Get The Party Started in 2001 and Family Portrait in 2003. That spans 3 calendar years but barely manages more than 1 actual year. Santana too, since I'm still charting WDY&I. I suppose Shania Twain's "Up!" album will soon qualify as soon as she releases a new single from it.

Shania's "Up" wouldn't count for me though because I have not charted any singles for that album

Anybody have these examples?: Dixie Chicks: "Fly" (TCorey?) Backstreet Boys: "Backstreet Boys (U.S.)" Incubus: "Make Yourself" Those albums had singles in three different years.

Simple Plan did it too. In 2002, 'I'm Just A Kid' hit the 70s or so on my chart. Then in 2003, they charted for 3 or 4 weeks total with two more songs. In 2004, 'Perfect' entered and is now their first Top 40 single.
But most of these examples are from albums that were released late in one year, had hits the next calender year and the year after is just the album finishing up. I doubt any album really lasted more than about 18 months. However, Alanis Morissette's 'Jagged Little Pill' probably lasted quite a while. 'You Oughta Know' entered in September of 95 or something and 'Head Over Feet' lasted until... hmmm, March of 97.... that's about 18 months so it's not THAT long.
'Ready To Run' made my chart sometime in 1999 (if you want to count that the first single from the CD) and I'm pretty sure they continued to have hits into 2001.

I can think of three cases...
Christina Aguilera, Stripped "Infatuation" (2002) ''Dirrty" (2002-03) "Beautiful" (2002-03) "Fighter" (2003-04) "Can't Hold Us Down" (2003-04) "The Voice Within" (2003-04)
"Beautiful" nearly charted in 3 years itself, it fell off in late December 2003.
Pink, M!ssundaztood "Get The Party Started" (2001-02) ''Don't Let Me Get Me" (2002) "Just Like A Pill" (2002) "Family Portrait" (2002-03)
Shakira, Laundry Service "Suerte (Whenever, Wherever)" (2001-02) "Underneath Your Clothes" (2002) "Te Aviso, Te Anuncio (Tango)" (2002) "The One" (2003)

I probably have never done that. If I followed music then and heard "Baby One More Time" in 1998, then Britney could have done it. They aren't popular here, but Lil' Jon and the East Side Boyz have had singles out in 2002, 2003, and 2004 from one album. Did anyone chart Kid Rock's first single in 2001, "Picture" or another single in 2002, and "Picture" in 2003? Did anyone chart singles from "[Hybrid Theory]" in 2000, 2001, and 2002? I would expect somebody charted singles from "Dizzy Up The Girl" in 1998, 1999, and 2000.

Only Christina has accomplished that. 2002, 2003, and 2004. My chart began in 2001.

As of my latest chart, Avril Lavigne's done it. Her history:
"Complicated" - 5/18-9/14/02 "Sk8er Boi" - 9/21-12/28/02 "I'm With You" - 11/30/02-5/2/03 "Losing Grip" - 4/12-7/12/03 "Tomorrow" - 7/19-11/8/03 "Things I'll Never Say" - 8/9-11/8/03 "Nobody's Fool" - Debuts this week.
