August 1.
Skipping the two most obvious rock releases (It's Not Me, Right Where I Belong), they release this.
This isn't anything great on first listen. Why can't they release It's Not Me?

Although I thought of it for a slight moment, it probably isn't a Lords of the New Church remake. That song was great.

Not the song I wanted as a single.

it seems to me like the record company really wants them to have their rock careers over... after the snafu of the last album (back to back ballads) to this.

LOL...isn't this like their third choice as the Alt follow-up to "Let Me Go"?[/font]

This will peak around #30. The same stations that picked up the last two singles will pick up this one; the same ones that didn't won't.

I really like this song..........I'm glad it's a single.........It's way more rock than "Let me go" and "Behind those eyes" so it's a smart decision for them to release this to rock

It's Not Me would be a horrible single, which is why they keep snubbing it. I don't know how I feel about Live For Today being the new rock single as I was hoping for Right Where I Belong or Landing In London, but I like the dual attack method they have going with Here By Me going to AC. Even if it's not effective, the band doesn't need any hit singles right now anyway. The album's already gone platinum. They could send a cover of the Macarena to rock radio right now and still be sitting pretty.

It did very well too, and the worth of a single isn't if the people who are already their fans like it.

Behind Those Eyes was their worst single yet . I'm glad they chose this as the next single on the rock formats , by releasing Here By Me simultanously to Pop and Rock they would have lost even more of their credibility here . I hope this goes Top20 on active and Top10 on rock , then they could release It's Not Me as the fourth single.

They could send a cover of the Macarena to rock radio right now and still be sitting pretty. That would be ridiculous but this would very likely mean the end of their career on rock radio

then they could release It's Not Me as the fourth single. I doubt they're going to be releasing It's Not Me anytime soon since for one, they already have four singles and I've rarely seen bands release five. Here By Me, despite not going to rock stations, does count as a single from the album, and it'll probably be heard by more people than Live For Today will to boot. On the other hand, it hasn't even been a year since the album was released, so I guess they probably would eventually release another single to rock. But I'm positive that It's Not Me would not be it. There are better songs on the album that deserve more attention. My bet would be on Landing In London to take advantage of the Bob Seger cameo.

Wow, what's with all these rock/alt songs. I've seen at least 3 or 4 3 Doors Down singles already from this album, even though it's not really a smash.

Wow, what's with all these rock/alt songs. Tis the season to be singing, fa la la la la la la la laaaa Radio rock that takes no thinking, fa la la la la la la la laaaa Songs all made by gay musicians, fa la la la la la la la laaaa With Chad Kroeger leading the mission, fa la la la la la la la laaaa I take the gay part back, I like those bands, I just got caught up in the moment. It's a festive time. even though it's not really a smash. Seventeen Days has gone platinum in less than half a year. I'd say that's a pretty good job since some bands are taking a year to go gold.

Didn't they go five deep on Away From The Sun? I think they should definenitly release It's Not Me. Landing in London is a bad rehash of Turn The Page even with the man himself Segar joining in.

Why is everyone so gung-ho about It's Not Me? It's not catchy, it's not their best song on the album, and it wouldn't do well at all. I'd rather any song get released from the album than It's Not Me. In fact, I dare 3 Doors Down to release It's Not Me so I can watch it bomb. And if by five deep you mean singles, then I only recall four: When I'm Gone, Away From The Sun, The Road I'm On, and Here Without You, unless there's a minor one I'm missing.

I do believe this is the single best 3DD song I have heard since "Be Like That".
Why didn't they just release this as a second single? Instead, they chose the lighter "Behind Those Eyes", and it barely hit Top 25.
