Because I only have a top 20, managing to stay on the chart for more than 25 weeks is a major accomplishment. And also because I don't have my archives completed yet, I'll just be listing songs that hit #1 (since barely any song that didn't hit #1 stayed on the chart for longer than 25 weeks).
35 weeks Sarah McLachlan - Adia Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit
34 weeks The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love
33 weeks Smash Mouth - Walkin' On the Sun Santana f/Rob Thomas - Smooth
32 weeks Paula Cole - Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? Sheryl Crow - The First Cut Is the Deepest Evanescence - Bring Me to Life
31 weeks Matchbox 20 - Back 2 Good Matchbox 20 - Unwell
30 weeks Matchbox 20 - Bent
29 weeks Stacy's Mom - Fountains of Wayne Hoobastank - The Reason
28 weeks Sheryl Crow - My Favorite Mistake Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue
27 weeks Goo Goo Dolls - Black Balloon
26 weeks Backstreet Boys - Quit Playing Games Paula Cole - I Don't Want to Wait Sugar Ray - Falls Apart Modest Mouse - Float On 311 - Love Song
25 weeks Sarah McLachlan - Angel Evanescence - Going Under Evanescence - My Immortal

No song lasts more than 10 charts (20 weeks) on my chart, unless they re-enter, and only one song has done that - "Millennium" by Robbie Williams in 1999 (12 charts).

Like KingLUKE22, most of my songs don't last long enough on my countdown (the minimum average is about 3 to 4 weeks to songs that have reached the Top 10 and above). Many don't last for 3 weeks, and are thus replaced by debuts and newcomers.
Songs that have passed the 8 week milestone are in no specific order:
White Flag-Dido How Did You Know-Mynt f/ Kim Sozzi Hey Ya!-Andre 3000 (OutKast) Toxic-Britney Spears Beautiful-Christina Aguilera I'm Gonna Get'cha Good-Shania Twain Cry Me A river-Justin Timberlake I'm With You-Avril Lavigne Dumb Girls-Lucy Woodward The Trouble With Me-Lucy Woodward All The Things She Said-T.a.T.u Unwell-matchbox 20 Somewhere Only We Know-Keane Crickets Sing For Annamaria-Emma Bunton In My Dreams-Tina Ann Can't Get Yout Outta My Head-Kylie Minogue Red Blooded Woman-Kylie Minogue Fallen-Sarah McLachlan Devils And Angels-Toby Lightman Dip It Low-Christina Milian Get By-Talib Kweli A Sorta Fairytale-Tori Amos Don't Know Why-Norah Jones No More Drama-Mary J. Blige
Now that I see, several HAVE passed that limit...hmm, hah.

Because I only have a top 20, managing to stay on the chart for more than 25 weeks is a major accomplishment. Ditto. But even still, you have more that lasted longer than I do. (Of course, you've also had a chart longer. ) After checking my archives, it seems that I should list those that have at least reached 20 weeks on - otherwise, I'd have a very short list. 29 weeks[/u] Switchfoot - Meant to Live (#1 for 8 non-consecutive weeks) 26 weeks[/u] Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway (#1 for 10 weeks) [This week is her 26th and likely her last.] 25 weeks[/u] Vanessa Carlton - Ordinary Day (#1 for 8 non-consecutive weeks) 24 weeks[/u] Dixie Chicks - Landslide (#2) Evanescence - My Immortal (#1 for 3 weeks) 23 weeks[/u] Avril Lavigne - I'm With You (#1 for 7 weeks) Jason Mraz - The Remedy (I Won't Worry) (#1 for 6 weeks) Nickelback - Someday (#1 for 8 non-consecutive weeks) Seether Featuring Amy Lee - Broken (#2) Switchfoot - Dare You to Move (#1 for 2 weeks) [Switchfoot will likely have one more week on before falling off.] 22 weeks[/u] T.A.T.U. - All the Things She Said (#1 for 3 non-consecutive weeks) Matchbox 20 - Unwell (#3) Maroon 5 - This Love (#1 for 4 weeks) 21 weeks[/u] Frankie J - Don't Wanna Try (#1 for 8 weeks) Kelly Clarkson - Miss Independent (#2) 20 weeks[/u] Our Lady Peace - Somewhere Out There (#8!) Rob64 - The Sunshine (#3, and don't laugh ) Jewel - Intuition (#1 for 2 weeks) Linkin Park - Numb (#3) 3 Doors Down - Away From the Sun (#6!) Black Eyed Peas - Hey Mama (#1 for 1 week) Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending (#1 for 9 weeks) Green Day - American Idiot (#3)

Not only do I only do top 20, I also have a higher turnover rate, so I'm posting all songs with at least 15 weeks on, which takes a lot. I'm including their year-end ranking as well.
31 weeks: Alicia Keys - If I Ain't Got You (#2) Monica - U Should've Known Better (#1)
19 weeks: Tamia - Questions (#9) Alicia Keys - Diary (#7) Brandy - Talk About Our Love (#4)
18 weeks: Angie Stone - U-Haul (#30) Usher & Alicia Keys - My Boo (#6) Destiny's Child - Lose My Breath (#12)
17 weeks: En Vogue - Ooh Boy (#14) Jill Scott - Golden (#8) Anita Baker - You're My Everything (#3) Christinia Milian - Whatever U Want (#19)
16 weeks: JoJo - Leave (Get Out) (#45)

To save some time typing, here's a link to all the songs that have been on the chart for 30 weeks or more. 113 songs have currently fit the criteria (29 of those occuring in the top 40 era). I name the longevity milestone as the "Kajagoogoo Award," named after the 80's one hit wonder. If an song has reached 30 weeks on the chart, it would be said that the song went "kajagoogoo" on the Chart Named Goo chart. www.chartfanatic.com/features/lists_guides/kajagoogoo_award.html

I always considered having some sort of an award for weeks on for my chart. I think it's neat! Maybe I could introduce something with some sort of criteria like X weeks in the top 100 + Y weeks in the Top 40 + Z weeks in the Top 20.
