Remember, guessing games must be completed by Friday night at 11:59pm (or the chart must be PM'd to me by that time) or it won't count for the PMB top 100 of 2004 calculations.

Uh-oh!
Oh well, let's not hurry through this one just to get it done.
Anyway, #41 is "Glory Defined" and 43 is "It's My Life". However, 42 is not "Move Ya Body" (that song only reached #25 on my weekly chart and did not gain enough points to register on the chart).
The song is by someone who's like the Ashanti of 2004, as the artist was featured on many songs throughout the year. This was a solo effort, I think.

Sorry, that's not right.
Good thing I'm not in a hurry for this to end before having a chance to post it on the PMB chart. We'd be going right down to the wire!

42) This song sampled a song from the mid-80s that peaked in the lower half of the Hot 100, but spent 20 weeks there. Kanye West - Through The Wire (I didn't guess this originally, because "Through The Fire" only spent 19 weeks on the Hot 100.)

Oops. My bad.
Anyway, here are the next five songs:
40) CS: This song is by a guy who has had a ton of Christian number one songs. This one, on the other hand, sort of bounced between #4 and #5 for about two months and then suddenly fell off the chart from #5, due to the blindfolded monkeys working at CRW.
39) This song was a big HAC hit by a woman who has had many HAC songs ever since her debut in 1994. This song has even been getting played on mainstream AC stations, though I don't believe it's on the chart.
38) This song barely touched the Top 40 of the CHR/Pop chart, but I liked it so much that it went Top Five on my chart this past spring. The title is very similar to a 1980s song by Heart.
37) CS: This song somehow reminds me of those black eagle ornaments that you often see on houses.
36) This song just missed the Top Ten on the CHR/Pop chart, but sure didn't miss at AC radio.
GOOD LUCK!!

Steven Curtis Chapman - All Things New ? Sheryl Crow - Light In Your Eyes (if it is this, why in the heck didnt this song make the AC chart? ??? I don't often see black eagle ornaments on houses. I'm not sure I've ever seen one.

It didn't hit the top 10 on HAC and fell off the chart SUPER quick! Kiley Dean - Who Will I Run To? Sheryl Crow - The First Cut Is The Deepest

For #40, you got the right artist, wrong song ScottE, are you sure you meant song #39? 39 was indeed "Light In Your Eyes". I have no idea why that song didn't make the AC chart, since it's just as AC-friendly as "Soak Up The Sun" (sounds similar, anyway) and we all know how well that song did. Jeff, I'm willing to bet that you have seen one of those eagles before. Unless they don't have them down in Texas. They sure have a lot of them here in Indiana. EDIT: JCMF3 chimed in before I finished this post (had to do research on the aforementioned eagle plaques) and he got number 38 and 36 right (That's why I'm wondering if ScottE meant 36 instead of 39). BTW, I was shocked that "Light In Your Eyes" only peaked at number eleven. Seems like a typical Top Five hit on Hot AC. But it didn't fall down the chart "SUPER quick". It's true that it fell 18-25 in one week, but other than that, it moved down rather slowly. It fell off due to the recurrent rule. If not for that, who knows how long it would have stuck around?

Oh, I didn't know that. Another big surprise. However, the song fell out of the Sans Recurrents chart the week it fell 18-25 on the real chart. Then it dipped to 26 on the real chart and then fell off via the recurrent rule, so it could conceivably hung around just below the Sans Recurrent chart for weeks and weeks.
And #40 is indeed "Moment Made For Worshipping". Now, if only someone would guess that Christian song with the connection to the eagle plaques...

Yes, indeed (since those birds have their wings spread like they're ready to take off).
35) The title of this song is another word for confessing.
34) I like this song. So did Rick Dees, as he gave it a certain special treatment on his countdown.
33) Sort of a chart regret, as I'm sick of this song by now. The band - I think it might have an extra digit?
32) This song has something in common with Vanessa Williams' latest AC release.
31) CS: Babies do this a lot when learning to walk.
GOOD LUCK!!

35) The title of this song is another word for confessing. Hilary Duff - Come Clean No clue... but I'll guess Twista f/ Kanye West & Jamie Foxx - Slow Jamz (maybe he put it in the top 10 when it didn't make it on R&R?) Finger Eleven - One Thing - And why would this be a regret? I mean, a chart is supposed to be what you like at the time, not what you will like necessarily in one year. Sometimes, looking back at a chart can bring back memories of that time of year based on what you charted. Mandy Moore - Have A Little Faith In Me? (it's a cover from a covers album... or did this come out in 2003?) Trevor Morgan - Fall Down

35, 33 and 31 were correct.
At this point, "One Thing" is a chart regret. When radio stations stop playing it completely, I'll probably like it again. I guess I'm so used to writing out my charts after the fact.
Number 34 is wrong. You're thinking of the wrong special treatment. The kind I'm thinking of happened only once in 2004.
And, yes, "Have A Little Faith In Me" did come out in 2003 and never made my chart. But you're on the right track, as the song is indeed a remake.
Hint: Think of the final days of AT20 AC in early 2004.

Nope, also the wrong type of special treatment. And you're right, that came so far from making my chart that it didn't even feel the heat.

OK, now for a few easier clues:
34) This "special treatment" this song was given has also been given to songs by Pink and the Backstreet Boys.
32) Think of the artist of the remade song.

Yeah, 32 is right.
For #34, you're right, it was a song that Rick put at number one for one week. There was discussion about it in the Rick Dees year-end show thread, I believe.

Finally! Now we can go on...
30) Yet another song by this singer who sounds like they could have been the one singing "Boy" over and over in Cam'ron's "Oh Boy".
29) CS: A song that was totally cheated on "20: The Countdown Magazine", since it never even made it even though it peaked at 15 on the R&R Christian AC chart and spent a long time on the chart.
28) This group has a common thread with Prince and the Smashing Pumpkins.
27) This was my final number one song of 2004 that got somewhat cheated on AT20 Hot AC earlier last weekend.
26) CS: "Well I can't help myself, so help me girl." There was a song in 1997 with these lyrics and the last name of the artist and the last word in the title of the song has a connection to the #26 song of 2004.
GOOD LUCK!!

Warren Barfield - Mistaken ? I was going to say Bowling For Soup - 1985 (since Prince & Smashing Pumpkins had songs with years as titles), but wasn't this already on the countdown? If not, then that's my guess :) Barlow Girl - Never Alone

Well, friday got #27 right and JCMF3 correctly guessed songs 26 and 28 (since "1985" wasn't on the countdown earlier; I just mentioned it as a clue for "Through The Wire").
"Mistaken" actually did hit 20: The Countdown Magazine (peaked at #17 in March) This song was from a little later in the year; was a Jon's Future Favorite.

30) I made a slight mistake on this one. It's not by the singer with the high-pitch voice, although that person is featured on this song. The title of the song might be how some people refer to American Idol winners.
29) I said that the group was gypped on 20: The Countdown Magazine with this song. That also happened with their earlier song, which looked like it was going to hit number one, but took a huge dive the next week. They have had many number one songs, though.
