The Rhythm of U & Me Will Downing Why I Love You Shells R&B Junkie Janet Jackson Still Tamia Diamond In Da Back Ludacris Never Keyshia Cole What If Ruben Studdard
Other songs that I cannot think of right away but since the corporate cheaters rely on payola, and popular hitmakers on a first name basis, these songs deserved better.

I forgot all about Still by Tamia. But I'm not surprised, as Tamia ALWAYS gets overlooked. At one point in time, I felt like I was her only fan on the globe. lol.

a quick list from me:
A Perfect Circle - Blue Yellowcard - Only One Auf der Maur - Followed The Waves Snow Patrol - Spitting Games Sugarcult - Memory The Stills - Still In Love Song The Von Bondies - C'mon, C'mon Finger Eleven - Stay In Shadow
I have another boatload of tracks that I didn't expect radio to play much to begin with, and I'll save all those for my underrated list at the end of the year. All of the above will be found on there too.

Probably the worst example, and this is because she really really needed radio's support, is Keyshia Cole and "I Changed My Mind".
Kelis "Trick Me" for sure-- radio pigeon-holed her as having a fluke hit, not fair, that album shoulda had a string of hits. She gets the last laugh though since it was HUGE in Europe.
Monica's "U Should've Known Better" but only at Pop, where they coulda helped push it top 10 instead of top 20 at Billboard hot 100.
Brandy, period, hands down, across the board. What's up with that.

I like Shania, but It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing deserved to flop on all formats.
My own choices:
Kylie Minogue: Red Blooded Woman Rasmus: In the Shadows Franz Ferdinand: Take Me Out Duran Duran: Reach Out For the Sunrise Sheryl Crow: Light In Your Eyes

The Calling - "Our Lives" Hanson - "Penny & Me" Fefe Dobson - "Everything" Avril Lavigne - "Don't Tell Me" (should have charted higher than #11) Sheryl Crow - "The Light In Your Eyes"

Didn't this underperform at Alternative? That might explain its lack of Pop success. Actually, IMO "Always" should've been sent over instead of RIP.

Janet's All Nite was one of the hottest dance songs of the year and it couldn't even CRACK the damn Hot 100? Now that's a shame. I can understand the first two doing lukewarm, because they didn't really connect, but I remember a majority of people loving All Nite. It may not have been strong enough to be a lead single, but at the very least, this should've followed up "Just a Little While" and NOT "I Want You". "I Want You" - in all its radio un-friendliness - flopping sucked whatever life was in the Damita Jo[/b] album right out.

Gwen Stefani - "What You Waiting For" I agree. I'd be hard-pressed to believe it could be any better suited for radio.

Jay-Z-99 Problems-Should have been bigger at pop. Agreed - but noooo...stations (and not just pop stations) just HAD to cling to "Dirt Off Your Shoulder"... That is why I will now always hate DOYS. >:(

Agreed, but where would it go besides maybe Triple A? It's far too good for Pop, its lyrics would keep it off AC...I can't think of anywhere else it could go.

EN VOGUE "OOH BOY" could've been a minor Urban hit with ANY promotion at all, but the most it got was 32 spins and was under 10 every other week
Runners Up 1. DEBORAH COX "SOMETHING HAPPENED..." I know this topped the DRA chart for 12 weeks but at the time only about 6 stations contributed to that chart 2. AMBER "YOU MOVE ME" 3. Celine Dion "You & I" 4. Nelly Furtado All Folklore singles 5. Kylie Minogue Body Language singles 6. Tamyra Gray "Raindrops will Fall" 7. Janet "All Nite" & "R&B Junkie" 8. Despina Vandi "Opa Opa" 9. Vanessa Carlton "White Houses" 10. Floetry "Wanna B Where U R (thisizzaluvsong)"

Anything by Prince ("Musicology","Call My Name","Cinnamon Girl")
The Darkness, I may be wrong, have released 3 singles after "I Belive In A Thing Called Love" but none of them have gotten play ("Growing On Me","Love Is Only A Feeling",& "Get Your Hands Off My Woman")
Scissor Sisters-"Take Your Mama" had pop radio written all over it but nothing happened.
Well at least the Simpson sisters had a good year, thank goodness

I don't think The Darkness's "Love Is Only A Feeling" was released in the US.
