Some of the chord progression in "Hey Ya!" is similar to the first parts of the verses in "I Wanna Hold Your Hand". It's not a major similarity, but it is noticeable if you listen.

I don't know whether this has been mentioned, but Sarah Connor's "Bounce" sounds too much like Mary J's "Family Affair".

The chorus of Clay Aiken's I Will Carry You sounds a little like Christina's The Voice Within.

Fefe Dobson's Everything. The beginning rip just HAS to be a rip-off of Stone Sour's Bother. I like both songs though.

I finally gave "Bounce" a listen and whoever said that it sounds like 'Family Affair" is totally right- everything, except possibly the chorus, sounds almost exactly like "Family Affair".

I think Linkin Park's "Numb" sounds exactly like "In the End" during the chorus. I can sing the chorus of "In the End" with "Numb" and it matches up pretty well.
Thanks, Ben

Faith Hills "Breathe" has a very very similar chorus to 3 Doors Down's "When I'm Gone"(do you see what I'm talking about?)
also
Alien Ant Farm's 'Movies" sounds like a rip-off of The Calling's "Wherever You WIll Go"
Do you guys agree?

I did read what you wrote and now that I think about it, the choruses of "Breathe" and "When I'm Gone" do sound alike. Not sure about the other songs. Thanks, Ben

OK Faith Hill's Breathe and "When I'm Gone" does sound a little similar.
I've got another close match.
Finger Eleven's "One Thing" and Pancho's Lament's "Madness And A Little Bit Of Hope".

Alien Ant Farm's 'Movies" sounds like a rip-off of The Calling's "Wherever You WIll Go" It can't be because Alien Ant Farm's album was released first. Then it's the other way around.

Remember the Communards' "one-week wonder", the remake of "Don't Leave Me This Way"? I have the 45 of that song and on the flipside is a song called "Sanctified" that sounds like it could be a sequel to the song. The former fades out and the latter sort of "unfades(?)" and sounds exactly like the end of DLMTW.

Everytime I heard this song on the radio I think it's an Elton John song, but no, it's actually Train's "When I Look To The Sky" It sounds like an Elton John song at the beginning, I don't know which one though, and then the chorus sounds similar to Mandy Moore's "Cry"

This probably was mentioned before but I don't want to go through so many pages to see. But I think the music to "Bounce" by Sarah Connor sounds like a sped up "Family Affair."

The chorus of Robbie Patton's 1981 hit "Don't Give It Up" sounds a lot like "Everlasting Love" by Carl Carlton (and others).

here's a couple of blasts from the past that sound somewhat similar:
"Back on Track" by Breakfast Club "Running Back To You" by Vanessa Williams

Nelly Furtado's "Powerless" reminds me of Finger Eleven's "One Thing". Maybe it's the other way around but they sound similar at parts.

I don't know if this has been posted here yet, but Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" sounds like an almost carbon copy of Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life."
