Ok, so who really got snubbed of any Grammy nods?
I'm kind of disappointed about the number of artists who didn't get nominated.
Monica - should've gotten a nod for vocal performance Liz Phair - surprised this didn't get nominated, but then again, that's a pretty tough category. Jason Mraz - what the hell happened? I thought he would at least grab a nod for Best New Artist. Jewel - see above. Should've at least gotten a Pop Vocal Album nod.

Not that I'm disappointed, but you can add Linkin Park to the list.

I knew 3 Doors Down wouldn't get any major nominations, but I'd figure they would get 1 or 2 token rock noms.

Maybe there should be another topic about which others got more than they deserve, I don't think Justin Timberlake deserved to get so many nominations, especially if he wins all of them. He's good but he's not awesome.

Justin being over compensated, didn't deserve album of the year.
Linkin Park, Dixie Chicks, Jason Mraz, and Jewel were shamefully snubbed. :(

LOL I'd want to add TLC for "Damaged." you won't find a finer Pop song by a Band, Duo, or Group. Also, Jack Johnson deserved something. Oh, and Aaliyah's "Miss You" should have been nominated in the Female R&B Vocal Performance category.

I was surprised Linkin Park didn't get picked over Evanescence for Meteora for either Rock Album OR Album of the Year. They did get one nod and I hope they win it. Session is a great track.
Pretty much everyone that's already been said...umm...yeah :)

John Mayer
Both "Bigger Than My Body" and Heavier Things were released pre-October and none got nominated.

I know I'm probably the only one who thinks so, but I thought "American Life" the album should have been nominated. It's actually a very good album if you ask me, just poor single choices. Also, I'm surprised "Picture" didn't get a nod.

Anyway, back on track... I feel that 3 Doors Down and Jason Mraz deserved to be nominated. Stacie Orrico deserved a few more than she got. Also agreed with "Picture" should've been nominated somewhere.

I'm surprised that Liz Phair didn't get any noms but I wouldn't really call it "snubbed." Oh my God, what a horrible horrible album. Just because the Matrix produced her (and Mraz, for that matter) doesn't mean they need noms.
Monica's stuff was awful too. I don't know why everyone's saying that she got snubbed.
Annie Lennox should have gotten more nominations.
I also say John Mayer should have gotten a nom for "Bigger Than My Body" because he finally comes out with his first decent+ song since "No Such Thing."

I think matchbox twenty got snubbed somehow, as I think "Unwell" should have been nominated for either Song or Record of the Year.
Also, there are these obvious snubs:
*************************************
Jason Mraz: The biggest folly the Grammy committee has made this year. Where the heck is his Best New Artist nomination? His nomination should be where Fountains of Wayne took it from him. heck, he didn't even get a nomination for Best Pop Performance/Male for "The Remedy". I figured "The Remedy" would be a shoo-in for either Record or Song of the Year but it didn't even get a minor nomination. Well, Jason, looks like nothing can push your album beyond gold now!
Dixie Chicks: Obviously much of the committee must be politically-minded like the Louisiana residents who sponsered a demolition of their CDS or the South Carolina residents who banned their music from all airwaves. Only a nomination or two on the board. "Travelin' Soldier" should have received a Best Country Song nomination regardless of the politics.
Fleetwood Mac: I figured they'd be the veteran nomination front-runner of 2003. "Say You Will" I figured would get a Best Album nomination, "Peacekepper" would get a best Song or Record nomination, and Fleetwood Mac would also get a handful of smaller nominations in the Pop or Rock categories.
Johnny Cash: Wow, they sure blew it this time. I'm glad at least Warren Zevon got respect, but Johnny Cash should have also gotten his Best Album bid for "American IV: The Man Comes Around" and a best Song or Record nod for his cover of "Hurt". Biggest disappointment along with Jason Mraz.
Annie Lennox: I am glad she got at least one nomination, but where is "Pavement Cracks" in the smaller categories for nominations?
*************************************
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I find this highly improbable, considering that books by Bill Maher, Hillary Clinton, and Al Franken got nominated for Best Spoken Word Album.

Celine should've gotten a Pop Female Vocal nod.
Jewel deserved some nods. I'd pick her for album of the year.
Amber should've been nominated for Dance song, although a song she originally recorded got nominated (Love One Another)
Clay Aiken should've gotten a nod and NOT Wooben.

How can "Hurt", a cover, be nominated for a songwriter award (Song of the Year)? Ask Mr. Kravitz. He won a Grammy for covering "American Woman", which, in my opinion, is an awful cover. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Stacie Orrico. I expected more since she was announcing the nominees. "Stuck" and "[There's Gotta Be] More to Life" could of easily been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance.
