Here's mine for Mariah.
2003
November
Mariah begins filming "The Sweet Science".
2004
January
Mariah releases the "Charm EP". This EP features tracks that did not make the "Charmbracelet" album. It is only available to Honey B. Fly fan club members. This will keep it from being labeled as any kind of a flop, while still giving fans what they want.
Productions credits include but are not limited to: Jermaine Dupri, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Aurelius 7, and DJ Quik.
March
Mariah releases the "Charmbracelet: An Intimate Evening" DVD. This DVD features one entire date of the tour as well as behind the scenes clips of Mariah hanging out with the dancers and backing singers in different parts of the world.
Ol' Dirty Bastard's new album is released featuring a collaboration with Mariah. The song is not released to radio however.
July
Mariah begins collaborating with other producers. Universal plans on this being her most expensive album to date, featuring production from David Foster, Babyface, Raphael Saadiq, Andre & Vidal, Missy Elliot, Jermaine Dupri, P. Diddy, Kedar Massenburg, Shep Crawford, Dave Way, John McClain, Darrell Smith, and Scott Storch.
October
Mariah records two new songs for the soundtrack for "The Sweet Science". "Strong Enough," produced by David Foster, is a midtempo, inspirational track. It features heavy percussion and some electric guitar. The bridge and final chorus are backed by a full choir. The other track, "Fight," is one of Mariah's collaborations with Scott Storch. It has midtempo verses before reaching an upbeat, hard rocking chorus.
November
Mariah does a few interviews to promote the debut of "The Sweet Science". Mariah and Laili Ali make some appearances to promote the film.
December
"The Sweet Science" is released to Cinemax.
"The Sweet Science" soundtrack is available for purchase online.
"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," a new track recorded as a Christmas present to the fans, is released to Honey B. Fly members.
2005
July
Mariah does a small photo shoot for her new single. The shoot is described as "sexy, but mature and classy".
August
The new single debuts on Honey B. Fly on August 26th. It is upbeat featuring a stellar vocal performance. The song is described as "reminiscent of such tracks as 'Emotions' and 'Dreamlover,' while managing an up-to-date sound".
September
Mariah shoots the video for the first single in Italy. It is classy and features a late summer vibe.
The single goes for adds at CHR/Pop, Urban, Urban AC, and Adult Contemporary on September 20.
Mariah does more interviews and makes several television appearances.
October
On October 21, the Morales remix of the first single makes it's premiere on Honey B. Fly.
On October 24, the single and maxi single are released to stores. The maxi single features remixes from Morales, Maurice Joshua, and a hot, new dance remixer.
Mariah does the photo shoot for the new album. It is reminiscent of the photo shoot for the first single.
November
On November 15, the album is released. It features vocal collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Patti Labelle, and Aretha Franklin.
December
Mariah appears on Oprah.
Mariah does radio interviews.
The second single goes for adds on December 6 at CHR/Pop, Urban, and Urban AC. It is a midtempo R&B track produced by Missy Elliot.
Mariah shoots the video for the second single. It is described as a dark, hip-hop edged video, with a deep, dark storyline.
The video debuts on MTV's Making The Video.
2006
January
The commercial single for the second single is released on January 17. It features the radio edit and album version only.
March
On March 14th, the third and final single goes for adds at CHR/Pop and Adult Contemporary. The song is a piano ballad.
The video is shot and features a storyline about a suicidal teen.
April
On April 18th, a maxi-single is released for the third single. It features several different Morales remixes.
July
"Mariah Carey: The Videos" is released. It features all the videos from her years at Columbia and MonarC. Virgin refuses to cooperate and so, the "Glitter" videos do not make the album.

Amanda Latona:
2003
September: J Records decide they want to sign her back. She rejects their offer since there is now 5 record companies in a bidding war for her!
October: After much thinking (and teasing), she forgives Clive Davis and rejoins J Records but only under the condition they give her first priority treatment. J Records are so thankful they give their employees a three day holiday and buy Latona a car (she donates it to her neighbor since it's a "crappy" car she said).
Latona goes back into studio for a week to rerecord ad-libs for the now complete "Pandamonium" (she changes the self-titled album back to its original title since B2K are no longer famous).
November: J Records is prompting Alicia Keys big release. Oh-No-They-Did-ent! Latona threatens to leave unless Keys' album is shelved until 2004. J Records obligies and Keys' album is held back (Keys's website says "Album coming soon").
December: Latona sings "Chestnut Roasting On An Open Fire" for a J Records party.
2004
January: "Without You" is sent to radio stations. It is the track written by Richard Marx but now has Latona's name until writing credits since she added a few words to the song.
Mid-January: Records expensive video for "Without You." It takes three days to complete and is said to rival Jewel's "Stand" in substance.
February: "Without You" impacts. It is second most added. She threatens to leave J Records if they don't make it #1. Latona is invited to sign at the J Records pre-Grammy party and blows the roof off the house. She receives more attention in the press the next day than the award show.
Mid-Februrary: "Without You" is in the Top 10. The video is #1 on TRL and VH1 with no signs of moving.
March: Debut album "Pandamonium" is released in two editions: Regular and Special Limited Edition (complete with DVD videos for "Do You Still" and "Without You"). Album debuts in Top 10.
April: "Pandamonium" is platinum and has legs. It is #1 during a slow week. Latona does a few signings and meets Willa Ford in "Hard Rock Cafe." The two hit it off and the press leaks speculation there will be a summer tour with the two of them headling it!
May: "Without You" is showing signs of slowing down. J Records put up a poll on her website on which song fans want as single #2.
Mid-May: Fans voted for "Better To Be Lonely," trailed by "I Hate Myself For Loving You."
June: Latona writes a message to website saying although she loves "Better To Be Lonely," she felt rereleasing "Do You Still" would be better since she "loved that song and wanted to give it a second chance! Yah!" "Do You Still" goes for adds.
Mid-June: "Do You Still" is most added!!! It closes out in two weeks. Stations are playing it as a graduation theme for 2004 with a special version of kids adding in their own messages.
July: "Do You Still" video is reshot. There are now three versions. One is the graduation theme (made for the "Do You Still" graduation book on sale in Hallmarks), the other is a new version with Latona in a cafe shop reminisicing about her boyfriend, and the third version (very rare!) is the old, cheepy video we all have seen.
Amanda and Willa embark on "A Toast To A Night of Pandamonium" tour! It is sold out in many areas!
August: "Do You Still" is already in its 3 week at #1. The album is now 3X Platinum! Go Amanda Latona!
Mid-August: Alicia Keys is suddenly dropped from J Records for no reason given.

Well, a few months before the album drops, I would go to several message boards and start letting people know different info, run contests, things of that nature. then about two months before release a single to radio and start promo. the artist would call as many stations as possible to plug the song. then i would have the artist do a lot of live performances and meet ans greets.
