HMV has Chantal's CD on for $25.99. Isn't that outrageous?! No wonder her CD debuted at peaked at only #28 and hasn't resurfaced in the Top 100 in Canada since it fell off!!

I once saw Clipse's Lord Willin' at HMV for $30.99, but it was the clean version, so I supposed it was "rare", but still. HMV's pricing is ridiculous.

Other than Imports and Box Sets, I've never seen anything cost more than $20.

Is that $25.99 and $30.99 Canadian or American? I assume that's Canadian, in which case that would be about $17.93 and $21.38 American unless the Canadian-American exchange rate changed dramatically since the last time I spent Canadian money.
In my opinion, no CD should be priced more than $12.00 I don't care how good it is, I refuse to $19.99 for an album.

If HMV was going to price that dearly, they might as well not carry it. People aren't dumb enough to buy the expensive CD from them when a nearby local record store will probably sell it for a lot cheaper, you know.

I find Sam the Record Man is the most expensive place in Halifax but I think Chantal might be $19.99 unless they upped it too. Her CD in CDplus is only $16.99. I bought it (the limited edition) for $18.99 when it was new, I think.
