Scarily similar career trajectory. Both enjoyed huge top 5 CHR/Billboard hits with their debut singles. Both landed just outside the CHR top ten with the followup. Both then disappeared, returned with fresh material, barely scraped the CHR top 40, pushed back their album releases and disappeared off the face of the earth.
Samantha did have a 4th top 40 though, with the 3rd from her debut album.
I pick her anyway, her debut album is excellent. "Always come back to your love" could have been HUGE in America. I don't know where she's gone...

Gotta Tell You > He Loves You Not This Is Me > Baby Come Over I'm Right Here > Crazy
Samantha Mumba gets a close vote here.

He Loves U Not > Gotta Tell You This Is Me > Baby Come On Over In My Dreams > Don't Need You To Tell Me I'm Pretty That's Okay > Always Come Back To Your Love Krazy < I'm Right Here
Dream gets my vote.

Samantha can sing! She has a distinctive voice, but she has a decent range. Better than half the dream girls. Only the ugly one who looked like Robyn had a particularly impressive voice out of them.

I only remember her from when I saw them at the All That concert, while waiting in line to meet Bosson! I saw her short, bouncy hair from a distance. I remember telling my sister that their song sucked. I guess I was just irritated since Angela wasn't going to sign autographs for another full hour. Diana has always been my fave member. I have a picture of her being exposed during a KIIS concert.

This is a very hard decision but I think my vote goes to Dream
Dream's hits: "He Loves U Not" A+ "This Is Me" A "Crazy" A "That's Ok" B+
Sam Mumba's hits: "Gotta Tell You" A- "Always Come Back To Your Love" A+ "Baby Come On Over" B+ "Don't Need You To Tell Me I'm Pretty (To Make Me Feel Beautiful)" F "I'm Right Here" C+

I have to go with Dream based off their singles. Did they release a third single from their first album?

I have to go with Dream based off their singles. Did they release a third single from their first album? No, they were going to release "In My Dreams". Then after September 11th, they thought "When I Get There" would be a better release. Then they just cancelled a third single altogether.

Amen, Dream (unattractive girls with bad voices) is a joke.
Samantha is underrated.

Samantha has a hoarse voice and likes to play with hoses in her video.

Samantha has a hoarse voice and likes to play with hoses in her video. LOL My mom called her "Samantha Mumble" after we saw her in concert. :( I used to be "Mad About Mumba!" (That's what someone had in their EFGF signature in 2001.) I even did my web design class personal site on her! I added a picture of the "Baby, Come On Over" CD from the UK.

I don't think so. Samantha will be walking in the middle of nowhere and all four Dream girls can corner her and jump her ass! Four (maybe five, if Melissa comes back) outnumber one. Even if Samantha had help from Omero, she'll still lose. Sweet dreams! And if Guy Pearce, Sam's co-star from "The Time Machine," joins the scene to lend a helping hand, the new Dream girls can seduce him in their lingerie, especially non-lesbo-vibe-anymore Ashley.

I choose Samantha Mumba over Dream any day.
I love Samantha, she has a unique voice and I still listen to her debut album every now and then. I heard a rumor that her second album is supposed to be country, but I also heard that she worked with Timbaland? Does anyone know what's going on with her new music? ???

Out of the six singles in FreakyFlyBry's post, I like "Gotta Tell You," "He Loves U Not," and "This Is Me." "I'm Right Here" is the worst.
