I'm the DJ for a "party" tomorrow. I couldn't think of an excuse to get out of it when I was asked to do it. so now I'm stuck and it's tomorrow night... What a waste of a Saturday night. This is a pretty mixed party.. lots of kids, lots of elderly people, lots of parents. WHAT DO I PLAY AT A PARTY LIKE THIS?!?! LOL! I need happy/fun/clean songs like "Come Clean", "With You", etc... Any ideas? I need help, LOL!

And right before you play Aqua, say "This is one of my all time favorites".

I have a few that might be suitable for this type of party:
Mandy Moore, "Candy" Daniel Bedingfield, "Gotta Get Thru This" Britney Spears, "You Drive Me Crazy" Hoku, "Perfect Day" Yellowcard, "Ocean Avenue"

Avril Lavigne and play Chantal's 'Leaving On A Jet Plane'. Gauranteed to be a crowd please and I'm saying that with 100% unbias.

Ooh... and "Macarena"! (But play the all-Spanish version, 'cause the English version has that trampy girl singing in it.)

Try some old '60's music, especially the Supremes and other Motown artists, the Beach Boys, Tommy James & the Shondells, the Turtles, the Grassroots, 3 Dog Night...
